In principle, in Hurghada you will not need shoes for swimming. But if you want to buy, then there will be no problems. Although shoes will cost more there.
I was already 3 times in Egypt and never used slippers. My advice to you: do not waste your money.

Ordinary sneakers, but better Boots with spikes are best. From my husband 45 - 46r, we bought coral slippers in Sharm for $ 5 without problems, but they can be said to be disposable, after touching the corals and, God forbid, steel with holes.
