The hotel did not like the constant winds. We were in this hotel in the second half of April. Wind and waves were every day. Swimming and leaving the water in the cold wind was unpleasant. In December, it was more comfortable for me to swim in Albatros Aqua Blue on the beach in El Maya Bay than in April in Barcelo Tiran.

Specifically, I have not been to this hotel, but I can confirm the above: Nabq (the area where this hotel is located) is the most windy. But for the end of May, this is probably not a problem. Undercurrents can change from year to year, be careful. If you are not a brilliant swimmer, I recommend not to swim far without fins (in another place, not in Egypt, once I swam 600 meters in fins for 2 hours - the ebb current began, but I have never encountered this in the Red Sea).
