Economy option 4*, more like 3*+. The hotel is not a beach hotel. Located next to the Il Mercato promenade, within walking distance of the Fares fish restaurant. The hotel is small, 2 pools. The food is like in the top three, but everything is fresh. They check in upon arrival, but they try to give a room with a view of the road and without a balcony. For an additional fee, they can settle better. We were lucky with no extra charge. Wifi is free at the reception. There were three beaches: free sandy (El Khaimah alternated with Terrazina, both opposite the Old Market), two paid for the dollar (coral Phanara and Reef Beach), for paid ones they took checks at the reception. Buses ran twice a day for free and once for paid ones, they were picked up at lunchtime. Rooms are small and in need of refurbishment. There are apartment type rooms with a kitchen. 30 minutes walk to the Old Market.
