SOHO is opposite the airport. This is a new beautiful street in Shar El Sheikh with a lot of good modern entertainment: nightclubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, an artificial skating rink, fountains, etc.
The old city is located at the other end of Sharm in the Hadaba area. This is also a beautiful area, but in the national Egyptian style. The main attraction is the "Old Market", with low prices and an abundance of everything you can buy in Egypt. Around there are shopping centers, shops, restaurants, cafes. Not far away is "1000 and 1 night" - a theater and concert complex and a disco "Dolce Vita". The old town also has its own promenade - El Mercato, but in SOHO, of course, there is more brilliance and beauty.
Getting to both areas is easy - on the blue minibus. She walks through the whole of Sharm El Sheikh and costs 3 pounds per person, which is 15 rubles. You can also take a taxi, but it will be more expensive, from 2 to 10 USD depending on the distance.

SOHO is a small square, it has a lot of different street sculptures that are very interesting. Directly with each photo pulls. There is a musical fountain in the middle of the square. The music is not impressive, but the fountain itself is interesting. Cafes and shops around the perimeter. merchants do not bother the public at all. In general, a beautiful place, I advise you to visit once.
The old town is famous for the "Old Market". Almost a real oriental bazaar, you can buy almost everything very cheaply. Bargain and you will be happy))) It is better to go there when it gets dark - it looks more interesting. By the way, they don’t stick here, it’s nice to take a walk.

As for me, there is nothing to watch in the Old Market. Dirt, garbage, stray dogs, cats and clingy shopkeepers trying to sell you something you don't need for bad money. We only went there for fruit. Be careful when buying fruit. You choose fruits, put them in a bag, and the seller carries them to the back of the shop to weigh them and replaces good fruits with rotten ones. There is a Metro supermarket nearby with price tags on goods, sort of like ours, but even here you have to look both ways. They may add something to the check that you did not buy. In general, throwers are everywhere. It's disgusting to go there.
