Is it possible to walk from Naama Bay to the Old Town (Sharm)?

We like to walk and distances up to 10 km in one direction do not frighten us, especially now it is not hot. It's just not clear whether there is a possibility itself (sidewalks along the highway) or some kind of route along the sea, for example. Thanks to all.
