I wouldn't wear them every day.
You can visit the monastery of St. Catherine, Mount Moses.
I would fly to Cairo only by plane. You can also consider Israel and Jordan.
And don't forget your mask and snorkel.

Of course, Israel! Mount Moses did not impress in any way.

... And also a water park! Unless, of course, you are a fan of this type of recreation)))

I recommend the color canyon - running shoes and water are a must! but you still need to proceed from which region you are going to, what would the digression be. It was fun, not torture :)

A friend of mine stayed at this hotel and was very pleased. Do not take a bathyscaphe and even less a boat. If you have money, fly to Luxor, you can’t cover more in one excursion, and it’s not tiring, all the same by plane. All bus trips will definitely be tiring. Good luck.

Yes, the hotel is great. was there. about Luxor - far from Sharm. this is from Hurghada. from mini excursions - quad riding. red canyon super place. you can take a quad directly to the Nabq reserve (there was such an excursion before). it is more beautiful there than in Ras Mohammed. to cairo by plane or bus. to Israel at will. but these are all long excursions. to go for a ride on a ship if you don’t scuba dive, I don’t see the point.

It is necessary to proceed from the budget that you are willing to spend on excursions, and personal preferences, what interests you more - sightseeing or entertaining vacation. Although, if you are traveling for the first time, you may not have decided on your preferences yet. Are you ready to spend a day exploring the sights and antiquities at the expense of the beach, sea and sun? Many people answer this question - no. Such people prefer excursions for half a day, evening or those where there will be time to dive and sunbathe. These are Tiran, Ras Mohomed, Abu Galum, ATVs, a water park, discos, 1001 nights, etc. For lovers of sightseeing holidays, the set is different - Cairo, Luxor, Israel, Jordan, Mount Moses, St. Catherine's Monastery, etc.
You are going to Egypt for the first time, and without the pyramids, Egypt is somehow wrong. My opinion is that you need to go from Sharm to Cairo on your own or, if you are afraid on your own, fly by plane.
For beginners, I do not advise an independent trip, the plane remains. And now you have to decide for yourself - go on one excursion to Cairo or visit almost all the sights of Sinai and go to Israel, for the same money. Better call when you arrive, then we'll decide.

By the way, even for the sake of information on Sharm, it's better for us to meet. Yesterday I met a girl who works in the travel industry. He visits Sharm once every two months and, surprisingly, knows nothing about Sharm, well, almost nothing. We met in a hookah bar, where she and her friends were safely doubled the prices, I couldn’t do anything, advised me to bargain, but this doesn’t help much, they don’t wave their fists after a fight. So write in a personal, and when you arrive, call.

For example, I saw the pyramids only on my third trip to Egypt. on one's own. so don't jump in right away. there is a reason to understand the country, the inhabitants (although you can’t understand the Khabibs) and then drive yourself.

i.sharm is, of course, a great tour leader. But here are my personal considerations: an ordinary tourist who has been to Egypt more than once.
You are going to a great hotel. It is located in Sinai. So, you need to see the sights of Sinai.
First of all: Mount Sinai (mountain of Moses), the monastery of St. Catherine, Jerusalem, well, local excursions near Sharm.
And please do not listen to who is impressed, who is not. This is a purely individual matter. For example, I think that the tour "Goroa Moses + St. Catherine" is one of the most vivid and memorable. Of course, if you are in good health and you are able to walk 7 km - uphill at night along an uncomfortable path, and oxygen starvation is present at a height.
Excursion to Jerusalem and Bethlehem is very informative, but difficult because of the night crossings.
By the way, it is closer to Cairo from Sharm than from Hurghada. Therefore it is possible and in Cairo.
It all depends on how many days you are going.
If 8, then preferably no more than one long excursion!
Otherwise, you will just get tired and spoil the impression.
Have a nice rest!

In addition: you do not need a water park, because. Do you have a water park in your hotel? There, no one but ours rides on the hills: they are probably afraid :)
Do not bring a mask and a tube from here (of course, if you are not professionals). Home gear is cheaper there. Just bargain! Do not give more than $ 5 for a mask + snorkel set.
Driving quad bikes in the desert is a thrill and a bit of extreme! Only in this case, a arafatka (correctly tied) and clothes that you don’t mind smearing in the mud will be very useful: you will be covered with a uniform layer of dust :)

You wrote everything correctly, everything is very individual, so you need to learn more about each excursion, and then decide on the choice.
And some minor clarifications:
- Charm from Cairo is really closer than Hurghada, about 40-50 kilometers, but this advantage is offset by the presence of a tunnel and constant queues in front of it;
- the Aqua-Blue water park still should not be compared with hotel slides, it is a large, beautiful complex with great infrastructure;
- there is nothing to do on ATVs without arafatka, and in order to have less dust, it is better to book an individual excursion or go in the morning, not everyone can get up at 4 in the morning, so there are usually fewer people, but then how lucky.

--Do not bring your mask and snorkel from here (of course, if you are not professionals).--
This is the first time I hear that snorkeling is done by professionals.
No need to be so categorical - a good mask and snorkel is very important.
I remember my very first as you said - an amateur mask with a shudder - it was some kind of horror - always full of water.

"...I remember...an amateur mask with a shudder - it was some kind of horror - always full of water."
And this despite the fact that I consider the mask to be an essential item in Sharm :), but you can pick it up here, including a professional one. Special stores - the sea, in the sense of a lot :)

--- And this despite the fact that the mask, I consider the mask an essential item in Sharm ---
And I also think so. As for the mask, I only need a professional one, especially since I have glasses with diopters inserted on purpose - you must agree that I don’t need an amateur one.
By the way, in one of Sharma's stores they saw a mask with a snorkel worth more than $ 2,500.

If you are planning several excursions, then be sure to do 1-2 days of rest in your hotel between them. Do not ride a boat with a glass bottom - this is for small children, a rare boring thing. if you want a boat trip, it is better to take a day trip to the Ras Mohammed reserve, see the beauty of the Red Sea. Ride ATVs in the desert and tour Luxor and Alexandria!
аватар Zlata28
ATVs are a must!
dose of adrenaline, extreme :)))

Near the hotel Nubian_Village there is an office of the travel agency - Gena and Cheburashka. I have traveled from them many times on both large and small excursions. Most of all I remember the trip to Petra - $210, then Jerusalem - $85, Cairo - $45, Ras Mohammed - $20, Mount Moses + St. Catherine's Monastery - $25. These are all bus tours to beautiful and historically significant places. Duration - 24 hours. Departure from the hotel - at night. Recreational trips on yachts, ATVs, horses or camels cost from $20 to $40 - they start in the morning and last from 4 to 7 hours. How to find this travel agency? Go right from the Nubian_Village hotel 5 minutes to the Grand Plaza hotel, cross the road and to the left of the Sharm Bride hotel, immediately behind the Boots pharmacy and the Super5Market store, there will be an office of Gena and Cheburashka - Sinai Voyage.
