I stayed at Rehana Sharm. These are two hotels with one common beach. The Rehana hotels themselves are very good and the Nabq area is also a great place. But! Entering the sea is a constant problem. A very high iron pontoon and two narrow iron stairs, there are always queues or traffic jams at the entrance and exit. The sea in the Nabq area (and at Rehana Royal) is beautiful, with corals and lots of fish, but it often storms, especially in the 1st half of the day before lunch.
Melia Sharm is located in the more tranquil bay of Ras Nasrani (Montazah). There is a good entrance to the sea and a normal plastic pontoon. Coral reef and fish too.

I say the location - this means that it is easier to go for a walk from Rehana to all areas of Sharm: there are minibuses and taxis, you can walk to the shopping center on foot, and Melia, as the tourists themselves say, is in the desert near the construction site .... Taxi, basically, only hotel ones, which are 2 times more expensive, and the hotel bus to Naama is 3 euros per person round trip .... Corals can be better, but as for the wind, in June the wind is very refreshing, even now tourists tell me . And Rehana herself is no worse than Melia ....

We rested in Tirana, this is a hotel next to Melia. On the road, a taxi is full and leaving is not a problem - to Naama $ 5, to the old city $ 6, to Soho -3 per car. You can swim in the sea in Melia from dawn to dusk ( always calm). In Rehan, the sea is closed until lunch because of the waves and I no longer remember the current in the sea in the Nabka area.
