There are no tours in Petra.
In Israel, the guide from Coral offered two types: with shopping for $ 90 and without them for $ 130

You could buy from Anex for 110. The Israelis wrap around 40%. Keep this in mind.

That's right, you have to stand at the border at night and if they let you through, spend the day in 40 degree heat.

"to spend a day in 40 degree heat" - if the body is completely protected, this is not a problem. The main thing is not to go in shorts.

Why there are no excursions to Jordan, in March-April there were definitely excursions to Jordan in Petra, only you need to buy not from guides from TO
Excursion to Jordan is the most expensive from $ 200-250 and very long in time if from Sharm, bus then the port of Taba (+ -3 hours on the way), then on a high-speed ferry boat across the Red Sea to the port of Aqaba (45 minutes to 1 hour ), then again by bus to Petra +- 3 hours on the way
There are Israel-Jordan tours for 2 days, about $ 260 for 2 days, but the problem now is that travelsita wrote to you, Israeli border guards can turn a whole bus of tourists, regardless of citizenship, back after an 8-hour wait at the border

even in Petra itself, you need to walk 3 km along the canyon back and forth or rent a cart from $ 30 for 2 or a donkey, comfortable shoes, clothes and water is the most important thing

Tourists from our hotel went to Israel from Anex, they offered 2 types of programs (for $ 95 and $ 125) + visa. Both are one day.
Departure at 3 am, returned the next day, also at about the same time.
Add additional expenses to the price of the tour (if you visit Jordan and other places of pilgrimage, you need to buy "accessories" on the spot - a cross, a shirt, candles, dirt - all for $ 10-20-30). The guide does not warn about these costs. Also check on the expense of catering during the trip. The hotel gave our tourists a symbolic ration (bun, banana, juice), at 10 in the morning there was lunch in some cafe and that's it, there was no more food, nothing was organized upon arrival.

In early June, I went from Sharm to Israel for 1 day. I bought the tour from local guides, then the cost was $ 90 (it was much more expensive for hotel guides then). The fact that 35-40% of tourists turn up at the border with Israel is true. From our bus (39 people: Ukrainians, Belarusians, several Russians) 18 people (all Ukrainians) were turned.
I really liked the tour itself. In Jerusalem itself, the climate is different and it was not hot, although after crossing the border we drove through the desert and yes, it was hot. In addition to dry rations from the hotel during the tour, they fed 1 time - at about 11 o'clock in the afternoon. Personally, this was enough for me until the end of the tour, even without tension (I didn’t feel like eating at all). Just bring more water/drinks with you.
We returned to the hotel in Sharm around 2 am.

During the tour, all souvenirs, etc. (cross, shirt, candles, mud) of course at your own expense. We didn’t have swimming in the Jordan in the program (unfortunately), so I can’t say anything about this item. We had a swim in the Dead Sea, and there it was quite persistently offered to buy all sorts of mud, etc., but this is not necessary, you can not buy anything.
In Jerusalem, candles, etc. are also persistently offered, but do not buy where the guides will take you for this. It will be very expensive! You will have many opportunities to buy the same (but much cheaper!) during the city tour. Do not believe the guides that there will be no time, there will be nowhere else to buy, etc. And, of course, all these additional purchases are only optional, you can do without them.
