Both hotels are located in the magnificent Sharks Bay, sheltered from the wind at any time of the year. Sultan Gardens is located between the Pyramisa and Louis Tiran hotels, Tropicana Grand Oasis between the Rojan and Four Seasons hotels. Both hotels have direct line of sight to each other. The Tropicana Hotel is within walking distance of the Soho shopping and entertainment complex. Good luck, the choice is very good!!!

We have not been to the Tropicana, but we really liked the Sultan. For children there is a free slide leading to a heated pool and a small paddling pool for the little ones. There, the water generally heats up during the day and is already hot :) Even adults are pleased to lie down there.

I would choose Sultan Gardens (but this is my opinion). It has 2 heated pools (in Tropicana 1 heated plus 1 indoor), an excellent coral beach (entrance through a pontoon or along paths cleared of corals; there is no sea in Tropicana - very shallow, pontoon 1200 m!), the territory is not as huge as in Tropicana, but that's someone who likes it more.
At the Tropicana, the territory is more beautiful, very green, the slides are interesting (in the Sultan - only one, in the Tropicana - 4). The Sultan has a descent to the sea along paths and steps, in the Tropicana everything is flat.
The animation is about the same in both hotels, but there is a disco in the Sultana, but not in the Tropicana.
If you take standard rooms, but in the Tropicana you will find yourself very far from the sea (about 1 km!, book a superior or junior suite in this hotel). In general, the rooms are all in good condition, spacious and bright.
Have a nice holiday!

rested in the Tropicana Grand Oasis in 2007 mid-December. Frozen on the beach because of the strong wind. Daylight hours are short. The sun sets quickly. But good seafood cuisine.

to Misterious Destini, do not mislead people, the Tropicana Grand Oasis Hotel in question and the Tropicana Grand Azur Hotel are not quite the same thing: "Azur" in Nabq, and "Aoasis" in Shars Bay and at "Azur" like many hotels located in Nabka, the pontoons are high (because there is constant excitement) and long, and in the "Oasis" 25 meters, no more.

Yes, yes, I'm sorry, I mixed up the two hotels, talking about Azura. But in any case, I would choose the Sultan.

The Sultan is a great hotel. To be honest - exceeded the expectations of all of us (we traveled in four)
