I vacationed in Sharm in June 2008. The air temperature was about 40. But it was much easier to bear than +27 in my native St. Petersburg. There was always a light breeze. We spent the whole day on the beach, of course, at the peak of the heat from 13 to 16 hours, we spent under an umbrella. Of course, the nights are stuffy, but I personally felt very comfortable. Vacationing in 2008 in Sharm at the Hotel "Grand Plaza Resort 5*". in Naama Bay. The hotel is mega unreal, just super! 6 times were in Egypt, in Sharm 5. And the best sandy beach than in "El Faraana Club" did not meet. Naama Bay is also sandy, but this is the center, the stench of boats and a crowd of people .... Moreover, the old town is not far away, where you can buy additional fruits, but everything was already so full. And what a wonderful seafood table! After this hotel, we were in "Tirana Island Carinthia" - they spat! That's where the discrimination of the Slavs is! Although it was much cheaper, they were indignant every day for various reasons and had to "steal" our orange or guava, banana, because Russian-speaking fruits with green bracelets should be consumed only in the dining room (I can’t call it a restaurant!), while others can endure everything, even drinks!

I have been to Faraan. As for the sea - it's good there, but as for the fact that it's not better - I would argue, because I go to Egypt just for the sake of fish and corals. And just one of the reasons why I didn’t go to this hotel a second time, but went to another one, was the large number of yachts in the sea, which sometimes interfered with snorkeling.
The staff there is by no means boorish, but very arrogant, tips were extorted - this is a fact, I had to swear;) .
The food in Faraan was very good, I can't argue with that. But the dishes were not washed with high quality, I had to choose.
Animation is that thorn that you constantly have to endure on vacation - if there were hotels without animation, I would love to go to them;)

The proximity of the hotel to the shops, of course, is also a good plus - bought fruit.
