in my 8 trips to Egypt, I have seen sharks several times. As a rule, these are reef sharks, ugly ones, however, barracudas are hardly prettier. I observed a real shark this year in July: a black fin slowly advancing next to the buoys parallel to the coast. The hotel security drove all the swimmers ashore. And then, two days later, I saw a big whale shark in the water (see my review)..... Will I go to the Red Sea for the ninth time???? YES!!!
