Tour to Israel?
One more question. We will rest in Sharm. We have relatives who live in Israel (Eilat) and constantly go to Egypt by car to rest. Since the visa to Israel was canceled, we have the opportunity to go to Israel for a day with them on an excursion - by car, that is, without tour operators. Perhaps someone knows what to do with the border crossing in this case, will they let us out normally and let us back in? Perhaps additional documents are needed? If anyone knows the answer or knows where you can find out - I will be grateful for the help.

Nothing is needed, they should pass without problems. You don't even need to take an Egyptian visa. Enough to put a Sinai stamp.

The border crossing is located in Taba near the Hilton Hotel. From Sharm you still need to get there. It is better to cross the border in the morning or in the afternoon. There are a lot of planned tourists in the evening and at night. Do not joke with the Israeli border guards - they are very strict. Eilat begins almost immediately abroad. On the way back, you will have to pay again for the Egyptian visa.
Have a good trip!

Can you tell me more about the visa? That is, it is better for me to put a Sinai stamp at the airport in Sharm, and then when to return a visa from Israel? I didn't understand something at all. :)

You do not need to pay a visa when returning to Egypt, but on the way back from Israel you need to pay a tax of 100 shekels (about $ 27) at the TAX REFOUND window, and in Egypt, customs fees of 75 pounds - when leaving Taba ..... Taxi from Charma to Taba about 100 dollars one way (250 km)....

Israel did not pay anything. When leaving the Taba area, indeed, they take a fee. And when crossing the border from Israel, Egyptian border guards put a new entry stamp and charge a second entry fee. Maybe it depends on the time of stay in Israel. In any case, the money is small.

At the airport, upon arrival, put a Sinai stamp. You can get to Taba by taxi as Karina-Mango wrote or by shuttle bus. According to the rules for crossing the border, Karina indicated everything correctly. When returning at the Egyptian customs, put the Sinai stamp again.

Misters, someone reads a topikstarter? What kind of taxi???
Relatives have written to you in Russian in white, they often drive their own car to Egypt. And they will pick it up in their own car!

Thanks for answers.
We do not need a taxi because we will go by car. :) I just don't want to just waste time if they don't release it. And with a Sinai stamp, what other excursions can you go on?

Everything except Cairo and Luxor.
