Trip to Israel
Tell me, please, if you do not pay for a visa at the airport, will it not be problematic to travel to Israel from Sharm? My tour operator suggested how to save on a visa - you need to say Sinay only at passport control, and they will stamp your passport, but you don’t need to pay for a visa :) and now I’m thinking if it will be possible later to go to Israel without a visa for a day and call back then to the charm...does anyone know? And yet, from a street agency, you can buy an excursion to Israel? don't throw?

Your tour operator is telling the truth. we were in Israel on a Sinai visa for 2 days and everything was super. traveled from Sinai Travel (in Google you can find their website) http://sinai-travel.ru/ - here is the link if it goes through modera. there you can contact Tatyana and book everything in advance. payment on the bus already. Inexpensive and educational. but it is better to go for 2 days. believe me. Only shopping in Jerusalem is the cheapest to do near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. True, the guide will not let you do it there, but will lead you to "your own store", which will look like a stall against the backdrop of a supermarket in comparison with the market. I separated from the group for a while, bought everything I needed in 15-20 minutes, and having found a group in the temple, I joined. the wife was with the group and "kept my turn". or if you go up the road of the cross, do it in the course of the purchase, but the main thing is not to get lost. and if you get lost, you need to ask how to get to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and find yourself there with your own.
on the second day Nazareth, Cana and Jordan are visited. Trust me it's worth the money. we bought cheap wine in Cana - it is young, but at home it deserves its own. expensive taste not grape
and on the Dead Sea, one bag of mud is enough for 2-3, do not get fooled by the flattering speeches of saleswomen
Good luck

do not forget to bargain everywhere, show money, name your price, pretend to leave
in Jerusalem, we bought camel-skin sandals for everyone, various shrines, a silver-plated copper turk inside, coffee and various other trifles
it’s a pity they didn’t buy a leather bag, they are so super cool there. nothing, maybe God will give in the next visit

Czosnyk is absolutely right! tour operators are just a scam! We had such concerts in the hotel with them! We took one excursion from them (pegasus) to cairo. Everything else from the street is from Sinai Voyage (Gene and Cheburashka are also called), they were right next to our hotel. they went with them to Jerusalem. Everything was great. Yes, the guide brought to the store for souvenirs, from the Slovaks that you can’t buy anything else and nowhere else, this is the only store on our road! Thank God we didn’t buy anything there, we listened to people who had traveled before, although they were very worried, they (guides) all speak very convincingly. on the way to the Church of the Nativity there were shops and tents, and to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher we went straight through the market where our eyes run wide! They were a little behind the group, but the locals helped without any problems, which is most interesting not for money, as in Egypt.

Everything is correct! No need to trot for a guide! You won't get lost in the old city! All roads are to the Temple! But: there are so many wonderful shops along the way - your eyes run wide! Buy everything on the street! Stand in line at the Temple for about 1 hour - you will have time for everything !! I still regret that I went with the herd!!

elenaoaziz we also had the 1st pancake lumpy, but for the second time we took 2 days and made a friend in Jerusalem in advance (who, by the way, also works in the tourist industry) and in the morning separated from everyone, with the knowledge of the guide Benjamin, joined our own only in the evening in a hotel in Bethlehem, where our group was already resting and waiting for dinner. in a day with our friend we visited (both on foot and by taxi and even by public transport) the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the market (thoroughly), Gethsemane, the Olive Grove, the Mount of Olives, Zion (they didn’t look at the wailing wall, last time it was enough), Bethlehem, Basilica of the Nativity.
but such acquaintances who will devote the whole day to you, where time is money, and the whole day this money is very hard to find.
good luck to you

I forgot to indicate for comparison, ours visited only the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Way of the Cross (on the contrary, from the Temple to the Wailing Wall) the Wailing Wall, the Mount of Olives (passing through) and Bethlehem (the Basilica of the Nativity) + lunch in Bethlehem, where drinks (tea, coffee) are paid ( on our first visit, lunch was also paid $ 13 per person) We dined at the Russian Mission this time.
more advice about the Jordan. there is a locker room 2 dollars. There are no lockers for personal belongings. (you pay only for a little room where there are no partitions) everyone must first buy shirts for dipping. we bought them in Jerusalem for 2 or 3 bucks. locally more expensive. on the river, I didn’t go to the locker room, changed clothes on one of the slopes in the river (fortunately there were many of them and not all of them were busy), then with things to my own, who also left things on the shore. after dipping, I went wet to the locker room (they let me in for free, since I was all wet after dipping), changed clothes and went to the bus
good business there - from a bus to 90 green ones, and there buses uuuu ...
