I can recommend Tiran Island Hotel 4+*. The reef is beautiful!!! - Eye-catching. Infrastructure: the number of rooms is excellent (wooden furniture, normal plumbing). Food - quite acceptable, but without frills, excellent pastries. You won't be left hungry. Location - the second line, 5-6 minutes to the sea along a very beautiful alley (walking after breakfast is only a thrill!). But the shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes (used only 2 times). Infrastructure behind the hotel - no, there is a bus from the hotel to the old town. The infrastructure of the hotel itself is normal. The most important thing we went to Sharm for was the reef. And we saw it in all its glory.
P.S. Regarding the attitude of the staff towards the citizens of the CIS, about which they write a lot. My husband and I adhere to the life principle: what you radiate is what you receive, so we did not feel any negative attitude of the staff towards us. A smile and a friendly attitude open many doors.

I support! The price-quality ratio is top notch. If your son can't swim, bring a swimming vest. In Sharm, in principle, there are no beaches to go from the shore, only from the pontoon. If from the shore, then either artificially imported sand or dead coral = sharp.

The hotel is new, opened in 2011, the service is at a fairly high level, we are fastidious travelers, we chose the hotel very carefully. Diverse food, but most importantly, a very beautiful living reef, a lot of different living creatures, we saw moray eels, stingrays, sea turtles and many different fish. The only negative is a small territory, but it’s not far to go to the sea, 2-3 minutes from our building, or you can take the beach bus, the first line. We flew out of Moscow, 2 people, took 15 days, all inclusive - the ticket cost 72 thousand rubles. So I recommend this hotel, and even - the hotel is mainly focused on the British and Italians, the Russian speakers had a little rest, the staff speaks a little Russian, so there will be no problems with the language, the animation is in English and Russian. The hotel has 5 nice pools.

Xperience Kiroseiz Park Land 5 * hotel is much lower in level from the Experience Sea Breeze Resort, although it is part of the Experience network, Continental they say has greatly reduced the level of service, it used to be much better. Look at the reviews of these hotels.
