We once were in Sharm at the beginning of December - it was very hot, the wind was not particularly felt and in the evening we walked in sundresses. And a couple of years later, at the end of December, we went - it was very windy and uncomfortable, and in the evening the jacket was not superfluous - warm, but windy. Both times in Nabq, the water is very pleasant.

And I’ll add more: the beach and the entry into the sea under the "mountain" - a cliff of 10-12 meters !!! In winter, the sun is low, and the day itself is short. And "your" terrain will shorten your comfortable stay by at least an hour ... IMHO.

The pyramids are better-CLOSER-to go from Hurghada or Makadi (there are better reefs than in Hurghada). it’s just that excursions to Cairo are rarely taken from Sharm now, (and shaking for 6 hours one way to stay near the pyramids for 1 hour .. not comme il faut ...). and what will happen in December with excursions ...
