For a family with a small child, Albatros Aqua Blu is the perfect choice.

If you still need Charm in December with a one-year-old child, then you must first decide on the bay. Definitely do not recommend Nabka: wind, high/low tide and long pontoon. I recommend the bay of Ras Um El Sid, partly Sharks and Naama. Again: only the first line? Then the proposed option Albatros Aqua Boy is no longer available. A good beach at Reef Oasis Beach, just in Ras Um El Sid, but, unfortunately, I can’t advise the hotel itself at the moment, there are too many negative reviews, service and food have deteriorated. A big advertisement for the tour operator Join Up Tour, but, in fact, the hotel needs renovation. Management has a lot to think about. Excellent protection from the winds and the ability to go into the sea from the shore, for example, and at the neighbor Reef Oasis Beach - at the Jazz Phanara Resort hotel. Now, it seems, as they do not settle in the Residence, it can be considered as an option. Again, how important is a complete children's menu? Or do you plan to bring baby food with you to a one-year-old child?

It's also a good idea to understand your budget. If the budget is not limited, then you can consider, for example, Movenpick: the beach is divided into sections for every taste (both from the shore and from the pontoon, for a calm and active holiday), but the minus is slightly green and all in steps. You can also consider Coral Sea Sensatori: the hotel is completely on the plain, it is convenient to travel with a stroller. Without a lot of steps. Recently, there are some of my godfathers with a one and a half year old child. In general, they were satisfied. Novotel Beach is also an option: the beach is excellent, but there are complaints about the number of rooms and food. The Jazz Belvedere is also working well now: quite green, but the winds will be more felt there, in my opinion, than in the options listed. You need to compare plus and minus.

Sern7081, thank you very much for your answer! The first line is better, but not critical if it is convenient to walk with a stroller. The children's menu is very important (steamed vegetables, boiled meat, fruits), we can take our own cereals. From entertainment, the kid needs only a playground, a sandbox or a shallow pool, and any territory is suitable, with a small number of steps where you can walk, examine and touch something. The budget is limited, approx. 2 thousand, but we'd rather pay extra than go where we obviously don't like it.
And what kind of Movenpick to look at?
What can you say about Grand Rotana, Cleopatra, San Arabian Select?
аватар Veronika7081
My personal opinion: Grand Rotana is not suitable for a separate infant. There is a shaved beach. There is no normal entry. Well, you will find the maximum lagoon. The hotel itself is beautiful, green, even the shade on the beach because of the palm trees, as they say - a hotel with a soul, belonging to the Arab chain Rotana. But your child needs to get older. My opinion. Again - if the priority is full-fledged entry into the sea and a good sandy beach. Sunrise Arabian Select - similarly, there is no full-fledged entry from the shore, although the hotel is undoubtedly good, built in 2009, also a network one. It is necessary to compare what you agree with and what you categorically disagree with.

You can also, as an option, consider the Sultan Garden, which is located in Sharks Bay. There is little wind due to the fact that the hotel is on a slope, you need to go down to the sea. There are slopes so that the steps do not bring discomfort. The hotel is very green, probably one of the most green in Sharm. But entry into the sea is cleared to the waist. I think that you will have enough for an Infanta, if there are no big ebb tides.

From Movenpick, if your budget allows, consider Movenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay 5*. But it is, of course, more expensive than Sultan Gardens, Jazz Fanara, Jazz Belvedere, etc. By the New Year holidays, we expect an increase in the price offer, but this trend is every year. I think until 20.12 there will still be stability in the price. Good luck with your choice and a great holiday in Sharm!

Natalie, thank you so much for your great help! Sorry for not looking right away what name is behind the nickname;)

Victoria, no way. And then one more thing: if you want an ideal beach and sunset for a child, then, of course, they are in Makadi, for example, or in Hurghada. But protection in winter from the winds is still better in Sharm. If Charm is fundamental, then choose a hotel, teaches + and -. Not bad see and video of the hotel and the beach.
аватар ekatarb
We chose Sharm so that it was not windy and warmer (I hope we correctly understood that it was there), thus limiting the range of hotels. The next limitation is the presence of a dietary menu. Next is the beach. I saw a review about Grand Rotana that there is a separate entry into the sea for children, so I paid attention to it.
аватар Veronika7081
Victoria, in Grand Rotana lagoon. Full value the entrance is cleared and sandy. In my understanding, there is one listed in Oasis Beach Reef (Sentido on the second line), Jazz Phanara, Novotel Beach (Palm second line), Movenpick Sharm, for example. I wrote + and - at the top. But then again - how important. A year old child is unlikely to go into the water on his own. You will bring it in. If so, then the lagoon may be enough. For adults, aquashoes. to help bring the child into the water.

Reef Oasis Beach Resort, Sentido Reef Oasis Resort, Movenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay, Jaz Fanara Resort & Residence , Club El Faraana Reef , Iberotel Palace - all these hotels are located in a calm bay, which is the most important thing in December, all hotels have beaches with a sandy entrance that is suitable for the youngest guests, there is an excellent reef everywhere.
Movenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Naama Bay and Iberotel Palace - from expensive chain hotels, everything is fine with food and rooms, a separate children's menu in hotels, children's clubs and for the little ones
Reef Oasis Beach Resort and Sentido Reef Oasis Resort both hotels are located on the same territory, more expensive than Sentido, because the bonus for Sentido guests is that they can use the services and infrastructure of Reef Oasis Beach Resort, restaurants and food at Sentido are better and rooms are cleaner + bonuses. Wifi in both these hotels is poor. Reef Oasis Beach Resort is very much promoted by TO, the reef is really luxurious, the rooms and food are 50/50.

You will definitely take a stroller for a child to walk, then the territory of Reef oasis beach and Sentido reef oasis, Movenpick, Iberotel will definitely suit you for walking with a stroller

Vika284, thank you very much for the recommendations! Reef oasis beach and Sentido reef oasis do not have the best reviews on the same forum, I do not want to take risks. I looked at Iberotel - the beach is perfect, but the hotel is a bit old, not attractive. Movenpeak is handsome! The price suits him, only they wrote above that there are a lot of steps, which means that neither in a stroller nor on foot with a child will be comfortable. And the kid loves to be taken everywhere for a couple of hours in a row :) oh, I didn’t think that it would be so difficult to choose .... For now, we are still looking at Grand Rotana and we hope that there will be at least a small entry into the sea to bring the baby in to splash.
аватар Marsyanchik
Even before choosing a hotel, check whether the pools and specifically the paddling pool for the baby are heated, well, so as not to be disappointed later ...

Victoria, why don't you like Sultan Gardens? Sunset at sea for children is better than Grand Rotana? In Movenpick you will definitely find diet food and good service, plus a large beach. The Iberotel Palace, which was recommended to you by Vika, is definitely worthy of attention. Windless bay. Are you going to fly from Kharkov with Join? If so, I don't know for sure, or Iberotel Palace Join sells from the regions.
аватар ekatarb
Sultan Gardens was very attractive, but friends of a friend were there not so long ago and complained about the quality of food - their stomach ached. Even the very possibility of stale food is frightening, a child, after all.
Yes, we want to fly from Kharkov, we will buy a tour at a travel agency where a friend works, so I don’t know what kind of operators they have.
We need to look for more videos from the Iberotel, maybe I’ll change my mind :) For some reason it looks boring - the child has nothing to consider, but the beach is excellent!
In Movenpick, only the abundance of steps frightens. If there, is it better not to take a stroller at all?
аватар Veronika7081
My opinion is that for a one-year-old child, a stroller should be taken. For this age in the hotel, by and large, it is important food, cleanliness in the room, convenient beach and sunset (so that parents can safely bring it in and wine it out), tennis and green areas. He does not need super-duper entertainment at this age: mini-clubs, an unlimited number of pools and slides, super-communication with peers in the hotel. And my advice to you already, as a mother to mother: take a pack of cereals, mixtures, even canned meat, diapers with you (including for the pool). But swimming in the pool is better to get involved. The child is small, it is better to play it safe. If the budget allows, decide between Movenpick Sharm and Iberotel Palace.

I'm sitting now reading about Movenpick :) It's strange, but the price is not very different from the Grand Rotana, and this is with an extra charge for the Infanta.
Food is in the first place for us, we will definitely take cereals and fruits / vegetables in jars. Canned meat with such a composition ... I would like the hotel to have at least boiled chicken)))
A good beach, of course, is needed, because. pools are scary after I read that mothers bathe children in the pool without diapers, they say, it is filtered there ... but they are there wee-wee:)
Tell me, does a child need aquashoes? On the beach, you can just be in swimming trunks without a diaper?
аватар Veronika7081
I think that your child will not need aquashoes yet. The child will try his best to take them off. And besides, his parents will definitely bring him into the sea. Here, parents can take them from home or buy them on the spot. Diapers are mainly taken for the pool, but many swim in the sea in them. It is not at all trying that there is almost no difference in price between Grand Rotana and Movenpick. Both hotels are good, network., pretending to comfort.otd. You sunk into the soul of Grand Rotana. :)
аватар ekatarb
Yes, outwardly Rotana is much more like it. Now, as you said, we compare + and -. The picture that emerges is that food is better in Movenepic. Is it so?
аватар Veronika7081
Movenpick has also been quite controversial lately. Some say that everything in nutrition is OK. Others, especially those with very young children, that things are not so rosy. Food without a super large assortment. The hotel management says that the hotel is focused on the European department, not the super children. As for the beach: with children, it’s best for 4. On the first one, there is a sand entry, but it is very narrow, just to go in and drink further. There are no approaches from the shore for 2 and 3. 5 beach - now almost no one goes there, there is no entry from the shore and there are almost no sunbeds. They say that it is quiet in the second building, and in the fourth it is very noisy in the evenings. If we compare Movenpick and Grand Rotana in terms of landscaping, then, of course, Rotana is the leader in this matter. There are 2000 palm trees on the property. Of course, there is a kind of crisis in Egypt. And he touched almost all the hotels: some more, some less. But the pricing policy, of course, is less than before the closure of Egypt for the Russian Federation.
аватар ekatarb
It's bad that there is no stability and it's hard to believe the reviews. We chose Egypt only because it is the closest relaxing beach holiday. It's a shame that by paying the same as for a tour to, for example, Thailand, you can get a sad picture.
аватар mindguru
In terms of nutrition, Movenpick is better. And in the pools and adult wee-wee ...
аватар millamilla
I support mindguru Movenpick better, it's strange to advise a family with a small child Grand Rotana knowing that it can be windy there?!
The stroller is also important for walking around the territory and the large territory of the hotel is also important, I have been traveling with children for a long time, corals and you do not need to movenpick
аватар Veronika7081
millamila. The author liked Grand Rotana purely visually: a green area. And no one imposed it., As an option. On the contrary, if you are reading attentively, at the beginning I wrote that in my opinion, Grand Rotana is not a great option for a one-year-old child.
аватар Vika284
I also mindguru agree 100% on the Movenpick
serna7081 you describe beaches and buildings in such a strange way, maybe you were in another Movenpick or read someone's reviews))) I have been there several times and Movenpick chains in different countries, and you write "They say it's quiet in the second building ..." Have you personally been there at the Movenpick Resort in Naama Bay?
аватар Veronika7081
Vika284. Well, it's great that V visited Movenpick in different countries. :) :) :) Congratulations. You have a mention of Movenpick in every topic. As someone mentioned Reef Oasis Beach. It is necessary and not necessary.
аватар princesMulan
Vika284 she definitely wasn't there
100% will write was a girlfriend or girlfriends or an acquaintance and twice a year. They don’t have a crisis now, they gave their citizens low hotel prices, a lot of Balts and Poles in hotels
аватар Vika284
serna7081 I was in Rees oasis beach in September of this year, and this is not the worst hotel
