1. The reef is excellent, the pontoon is short., There is a shower on the beach, I don’t remember the toilet. 2. Food quality is good, grill, pizza, cocktails. Service was no problem. 3. The hotel is well protected from the winds.

In Royal Grand Sharm 5 * the reef is not bad, but it is a coral wall, up to 30 meters deep near the pontoon. My wife was afraid of the depth. There was a piece of sandy beach, but I would not let the children go to the reef along it. Almost a sandy beach at the top of a cliff in the sea. There is a shower, a toilet on the right side of the beach.
Both hotels are protected from the winds, but the first one is in the bay, where there are practically no waves, and in the second, sometimes the pontoon wobbled well, there is no bay. We lived in the Royal in the main building on the 4th floor,

The quality of the food is ok for me. wine was offered in glass goblets, beer was bottled, near the pool you can eat pizza, hamburgers, drink local liquor.

I would like to visit other hotels in Sharm, which is why I am interested in Royal Grand Sharm 5 *. According to reviews, it seems like a good hotel, but for me the main thing is a beautiful reef and a calm sea, so again I choose Reef Oasis. Perhaps, based on your experience, you can recommend a hotel no worse, with a beautiful gentle reef and no winds.

Just got back from Royal. The furniture is really tired. The reef is awesome. ON THE BEACH THE SAND. I don’t see the need for corals, because You won't roam the reef, it's dangerous to me. There is a shower on the beach. There is a toilet near the beach - a passage between the building and the bungalow. The food is normal. There is always a choice. The heated pool is working. Not big in size. There was one cool day, then a lot of hanging out near him. There was enough for everyone. The water is really warm.
