Self guided tours in Barcelona
Friends, I need your advice :)
We are flying to Barcelona for 2 weeks. We will live in a beach suburb (about 15 km from the city).
I have already found information about the main attractions. But I would like to spend the first 3-4 days (or more) precisely on exploring the city, and then wallow on the beach and get out into the city in the evenings if desired.
Could you share a map of the city with marked sights, as well as ready-made routes.
We know about Bas Touristik, we will use it :)
Thank you in advance!

Gothic Quarter, Sagrada, Gauglia Park, promenade, st. La Rambla, Gaudí's house on Dioganal Avenue and the church on Mount Tibidabo. In general, when you arrive in Barça, on Plaza Catalunya, buy a map in Russian for 1 euro, all the sights are indicated there. I advise you not only to use the bus, but also just walk around, for example. from sq. Catalonia to Sagrada can be reached on foot, it's not far through the square. Manumental, there are parrots living in the trees around the monumental (like we have pigeons). And go to the Montserrat mountain range, if not too lazy to go on your own, with a tour they give only 4 hours, this is catastrophically little. Any questions I'll be happy to answer.

Natali_NN, thank you! Is it worth a separate day for Montjuic and the Royal Palace? Listed by you really to see for a day? Mount Tibidabo and Parc del Laberinth Horta + a couple more parks - is this already the third day?

we have not been to Montjuik and the Royal Palace. We spent 3 days on Barca, we didn’t use the bus tourist, and for 3 days we didn’t see everything and it turned out to be running, though we walked for 2 days ourselves, and for 1 day we took an excursion to the dolphinarium + singing fountain. We visited the dolphinarium for the sake of our son, so we would not have seen and lost nothing. But Barca is a crowded and lively city, you get tired of it. Why I liked Montserrat and Tibudabo, it is calm and not crowded there. And oh. we regret that we didn’t go inside the Sagrada, advice, buy an excursion there, then you get there without queues, otherwise the queue is 3-4 hours, of course cheaper, but the time is insanely pitiful. We lived far enough from Barca, but the trains traveled 1 hour 10 minutes. in one direction, but they did not go every day, but alternated. Still (if interested) we went under our own power to Girona, we liked it very much.

It's impossible to see everything in one day! For three and then running, the city is quite large. I also advise you to see the Aquarium on the waterfront and Camp Nou. I'm not a big fan of football, but I was delighted!

You need to come to Sagrada in the morning on a weekday, then the chances are higher. An audio guide in Russian costs 18 euros. The lines are long but move quickly. I would recommend Gaudí's Casa Batlló. Yawning windows, handrails in the form of a ridge and a room shaped like a chest, this is what will amaze you)) A good oceanarium. One of the best in Europe. It was interesting to visit the Picasso Museum for general development. Every Sunday after 3 the entrance is free. Were on Mount Tibidabo. Not bad. We also visited the Horta Labyrinth. Beautiful garden, but nothing extraordinary. The Labyrinth itself is small and it is unrealistic to get lost in it... And, of course, Park Güell))

If still relevant, then Montjuic is really worth a visit. You can go up there by cable car from the beaches of Barceloneta, and fly over the sea, quite impressive. As for the Sagrada, I can advise you to buy tickets on the website, for people with such a purchased ticket, there is a separate entrance and there is no queue. It costs only 2 euros more. And be sure to climb the towers in the Sagrada, first of all, a beautiful view of Barcelona opens up. And secondly, you can see how the construction is going on and the stunning peaks of the towers.
