Hey! We were in Sitges, 40km from Barcelona on the beach. A small town, many bakeries, confectioneries, shops with vegetables and fruits. In restaurants (even beach ones) the food is very good and fresh! I was 5 months old - there were no problems with good food. In my opinion, it is better to take apartments. All the necessary products can be bought, they are not tied to the hotel regime, and the difference in price is significant...
When I find time, I will write a review with photos. Barcelona is absolutely amazing! Gaudí Houses, Gaudí Park and Sagrada Familia are a must see! Figueres, or rather Dali's house-museum, will not please everyone, I would not take children there.
