What is the best way to organize a trip to Spain?
I would like to visit Andalusia, the famous Granada, Seville, Ronda for 7 days in May. The budget is limited. There is no experience of independent trips, as well as time for preparation.
How best to organize this trip: 1. Immediately order a tour of these cities from a travel agency. 2. Buy a tour to Malaga and buy excursions on the spot.

According to my experience, you buy a ticket to any European country from which there are flights to one of these cities. The prices there are very pleasant. You can buy a ticket for 10 euros one way. and independently book hotels on Agoda, booking, etc. Travel around the cities on your own, since the communication is established and everything is on the internet. But if you are a fan of being taken, brought, fed .. then of course it is better to buy a tour. to find a guide, if it's hard with excursions.

Cheaper - on your own, more convenient - through the operator. Air tours with a good excursion are organized by "Feeriya"

travelsita the author of the question is from Russia, so the Fairy will not help. And the Fairy is expensive, independently more convenient, cheaper and more pleasant. As for me. Especially to Spain. Although sometimes we come across tours to resort towns with flights, food and transfers at very reasonable prices.

lana_181, I didn't look where the author came from. In Russia, for sure, there are tour operators who organize such air tours.

1. No experience.
2. The budget is limited.
3. There is no time to plan.
all this suggests that you need to go to a travel agency and pray that someone in your city will deal with ready-made programs in Spain. Otherwise, an individual tour will be calculated for you. And they are not budget friendly.

How limited is the budget. Spain is, in principle, not a budget country, it is better to fly to Madrid, and then from Madrid in a southern direction. We traveled around Spain, though more in the northern and central parts - Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Toledo, Figueras, the route took 13 days, the total amount was 3 thousand dollars, but we booked a tour at an agency. Another inconvenience is that Spain is not an English-speaking country, therefore, in order to find out something, you had to contact the police, they speak English and can explain everything. But the country is very beautiful, both in terms of architecture and nature, so we also planned to visit the southern region, just like you. In 7 days, you can easily meet. 1 day arrival in Madrid and accommodation at the hotel; Day 2 - excursions in Madrid; Day 3 - Toledo; Day 4 - Cordoba; Day 5 - Seville; Day 6 - Granada and on the 7th day departure from Madrid to your city.

If there is no experience and there was no Schengen, then 100% to the travel agency. You may not get the first Schengen on your own. And in the company you choose a hotel in Seville, air tickets. The Spaniards know English, you can communicate. And all over Spain in 7 days is impractical, you will be overwhelmed with impressions and you will not remember the first days.

solo travel has never been cheap. buy an organized tour, live in a hotel on the coast, also travel in organized group trips with a tour operator, at least there will be a guide. we were in Andalusia for two weeks, it was enough with difficulty) it is beautiful!)

I am also for organized excursion tourism.

According to the specified data, a ready-made excursion tour is better. Although I am a supporter of independent travel.

After visiting a certain country a couple of times, self-tourism is just right. For the first visit, it is better to choose an organized tour.

If the budget is limited, then you will not find more economical group tours.

paradise_lost, usually the one who does not travel alone thinks so, sorry. It is very convenient and inexpensive to travel to Spain on your own.

lana_181 you have the right to consider yourself the most knowledgeable and advanced, but I personally did not ask your opinion, sorry
аватар lana_181
paradise_lost is you apparently think I am like that)) I didn’t write about it. But it’s stupid to argue like you, not knowing another. It’s not your and not my opinion.

lana_181 - usually the one who does not travel alone thinks so, sorry.
But to argue like you, without knowing another, is stupid. - Who wrote it? that's it, it's stupid to judge the knowledge and experience of a person without knowing anything about him at all. and yes, you answer the one who asked the question, but I didn’t ask you anything. all the best.
аватар lana_181
paradise_lost apparently you are a troll ... I look at the activity on the forum, which means there really is no point in writing something to you.
аватар paradise_lost
lana_181 It's already clear that you like to brand and draw conclusions from scratch. settle down, lit sgach under the question of a person. advice - stop considering yourself the truth of the highest authority and do not drown in self-conceit and narcissism. dot.

lysenko.lau1 I went on a similar tour 3 years ago, of course, on my own, settled in Malaga, from there you can go by bus to Seville, Cordoba, Granada, but I have been there more than once, so I went to other places: Ronda (by train), Gibraltar, Tangier, Nerhu. I haven’t contacted travel agencies for a long time - it’s very expensive and always not what you need.

To lysenko.lau1:
it is cheaper to travel independently, especially since this way you can choose a route to your liking. Just make sure you book in advance.
However, I also have the experience of an organized tour of Greece: I saw Athens, Thessaloniki, the Olympic Riviera for ridiculous money and swam in Zakynthos for another 5 days (Marathonisi, Navagio Bay, Zante, Keri and Blue Cav ..)
So there is no definitive answer to your question.
And how did you go to Spain as a result? What are the conclusions?
P.S. I fell in love with Spain very much and I dream of flying again.

I can argue and recommend a little, because. was in early April this year in Madrid and the surrounding area. We went on our own, but visas were made through a travel agency. We didn’t go from Madrid to Seville because of the economy: a round-trip train ticket for two for 198 euros is the cheapest. It is pointless to drive for four hours, and the road will take at least 7 hours. If there is no knowledge of English, then it is bad, the Spaniards and in Madrid not everyone speaks and understands English, although they help and show "on the fingers". There will be problems with Schengen if there is no agency. I don’t recommend taking excursions on the spot at all: the prices are going through the roof. A sightseeing tour of Madrid or Lisboa costs under 100 euros for 3-4 hours. Countries without Russian-speaking tourist flow and prices are appropriate. There is an excursion in almost all cities at 15:15 at a price of 20 euros per person, but this is so-so. I saw such an excursion in Porto, I was not impressed.
My recommendations: take the maximum from a travel agency: transfers, transfers, excursions and learn to drive on your own. In general, for the first time I recommend Prague.

Dry numbers in favor of an independent trip to Spain. I flew to Barcelona in September last year, rested 5 days at sea (Calella) and 2 days in Barca just during the La Merce holiday.
Total spent - 410 euros (airfare, transport, 3 hotels with a surcharge for a single, excursions).
Decryption:
I bought air tickets in January on the promotion of one low-cost, cost 130 euros round trip with payment for hand luggage - there, back - another 20 kg for gifts, souvenirs.
I also booked hotels on booking in winter. You understand that a hotel in Barcelona during the main holiday of the city - La Merce - is expensive. For me, the hostel (Hostal Delfos, near University Square) - a separate single room with its own bathroom - cost 56 euros for 2 nights.
I bought a ticket to visit Batlló's house for 23.50 euros at the tourism office in the city center. You can find it online for the same price. If you buy a ticket on the spot, it will cost 6 euros more.
A T-10 ticket (any transport in Barcelona, 10 trips) costs 9.95 euros.

(continuation)
Bus transfer from Barcelona airport to Calella - 9.60 euros one way.
Train Calella-Barcelona one way - 4.90 euros.
Spent five days at sea in Calella (Costa Maresme) north of Barca. I booked 2 different hotels again in advance: 165.50 euros for 5 nights, standard rooms in single mode, with breakfast.
In addition to a beach holiday, I was in Tossa de Mar (train to Blanes 5 euros (15 min) + bus to Tossa 5.70 euros (30 min)), Pineda and Saint Paul de Mar (on foot).

I may have missed something, but what does Barcelona have to do with it if a person wants to see Andalusia? And he doesn't want to spend time preparing.
