were in Lloret de Mar, the package was taken from the Anex tour, their air carrier Azur Air (this is their airline). Great vacation, trips to Barcelona, Girona. This is of course my subjective opinion, but why go to a resort town focused on beach holidays when the season has actually ended? It is already cool for the beach, although it does not happen year after year, and October can be hot. I would rather choose Barca itself, some small hotel in the Gothic Quarter.

I agree that it is better to choose Barcelona for a holiday in October. We rested in Loretta since October 5, the water in the sea was already cold, we could not swim. Although many swam, maybe walruses, I don’t know. And I liked the hotel, Oasis Park and Spa 4 *, 5 minutes walk from the beach, we had breakfast - dinner, in principle, not bad, and the pool inside the territory, so we swam in it. The tour was also a package tour, UIA air carrier, normally. But in October I don’t want to go to Lorette anymore, it’s better to go to Barcelona. But since you have already decided on a place, it is very close to Barcelona by any means of transport, visit Montserrat, the Dali Museum in Figueras, Girona - it's all close. Here on Turpravda in Barcelona there is a whole manual, it came in handy for me.

Maybe someone knows how to relax on their own cheaper, but with us independent tourism is always more expensive, and we also lose a lot of time from inconsistencies in transport, in the operation of excursion facilities - then we are looking for a stop for 3 hours, then we got on the wrong train, then the museum does not work that day, somehow stupidly we always lose a lot of time. Therefore, based on our experience, I advise a package tour (IMHO).

pepsicola, yes, that's exactly it. I calculated a bunch of options, but the tickets themselves are expensive (namely, direct flights). All options have been revised, the tour is cheaper. On Saturday we were already going to buy a tour, we were advised to wait another week, as prices are falling. (for a day, the tour fell in price by 900 UAH). So what are we waiting for
