I did not see people with fins, snorkels and masks there.

I took this kit in 2015. I don't drive anymore. If you want details, write to

Goncharov2, In Goa.
Diving is not particularly interesting there, visibility is no more than a meter, water transparency is low
аватар Iren48
Do not take!
аватар Vyacheslav060370
You can take a mask. There is nothing to do with it to dive. Beauty as such is not very good.
аватар Goncharov2
Clearly, thank you all, the luggage is already lighter!))
аватар ef_torik
and on GOA you shouldn’t carry extra luggage at all. A couple of shorts, and T-shirts, swimming trunks, and that's it
аватар Goncharov2
And then how to relate to the advice to take your bedding, towel, soap, shampoo?
аватар ef_torik
He treats it like bad advice) Soap and shampoo are sold there at every turn, they cost a penny, the quality is excellent) Towel is the thing ... if you want to take it, or you can buy it there .. You definitely don’t need to drag the bed.
You can buy wonderful bedspreads - sheets for a penny price on the spot .. and use them either on the beach, instead of bedding, or, if you are squeamish, then as a bed.
I even bought these sheets for home as a souvenir.
We went to a 2 star guesthouse..about which there was no information at all, and everything was fine..bedding and towels changed every day..and was clean.
We also spontaneously stayed overnight in guest houses in Hampi and a couple of guest houses in South Goa .. the bed was also clean .. but they didn’t give a carpenter)
At the expense of soap, washcloths and shampoo, in principle, we brought our own, and upon departure we left everything there .. Indian ones were brought back)
аватар ef_torik
The main thing is not to collect outfits and a lot of clothes. she's redundant.
I did not listen to this advice, and then I regretted it very much. There was nowhere to put souvenirs from India, and extra weight ((

About Hampi, can you tell us a little more? I really want to get there, but I have an ultra-budget trip, a guest house hotel with breakfast, and there is $ 100 left for 8 days for food, and I want another waterfall and Hampi. Is it really possible to fit in with this money, and if so, what kind of life hacks will you give?))
аватар ef_torik
More about food, ..you can save a lot if you buy street food - samosa (10 rupees pcs) or chicken rolls .. (40-50 rupees pcs). We ate and nothing happened to us)
аватар Gulit61
you don’t need to drag the mask - it’s bad to look at and poor visibility - because of the waves in the water there is a suspension of sand. drive to the waterfall - if you eat alone, take a tour from the locals. do not count on Hindu breakfasts - a cup of tea and a sandwich with butter and jam. I don't know about Humpy. there is a long and far way to go and you only have 8 days.
аватар ef_torik
not so long in Hampi, .leave into the night, . in the morning already there .. it is possible without an overnight stay .. I walked for a day, and back in the evening. The waterfall tour costs $30
аватар ef_torik
And it's also a 5 hour drive to the waterfall

If you are on an ultra budget:
1. Take with you several packages of different instant cereals, a boiler and what to cook in.
2. Ask the operator if there is a refrigerator in the room. If there is, take sausages, cheese
3. Take a few cans of stew
4. Potatoes here cost 20 rupees per kg, eggs 50 rupees a dozen.
5. You will have to spend money on water and fruits
6. Trip to Hampi over $100 for 2 days
7. Buy a wide-brimmed hat. The sun is hot here, 100 rupees will be shaken for a sunbed under an umbrella, or you have to dine in a cafe. Buy sunscreen
Enough money for a waterfall.

Dry-cured sausage does not disappear even without a refrigerator. They took both to Goa and to the Crimea with a tent. It’s better to take two boilers :))) We burned down on the third day :(((
аватар Iren48
ef_torik, Did you go to Hampi on your own?
аватар ef_torik
iren48 yes, we went on our own
аватар ef_torik
I think it’s stupid to go to India and eat Mivina)) It’s quite possible to eat local food inexpensively. the sausage will not disappear even without a refrigerator .. we have lain for a couple of weeks.
аватар Iren48
ef_torik, if there is a description of your trip, throw a link in a personal. Maybe next year we will be able to
аватар ef_torik
there is a description) I posted it here, but the post was deleted) now I'll throw it off

Street food is cheap and tasty, it makes no sense to take our food. It's hot there and there is almost no feeling of hunger. There are cookies for 5-10 rupees. If anything.) I fed them to the dogs and tried it myself - delicious treats. The cane drink is delicious and high-calorie, the milkshakes are fabulous. I didn’t feel like eating there at all, I didn’t even get fruit. I wanted to drink.
