well, no one can forbid you, but we can’t know for sure about the theft either. If the hotel has Wi-Fi then you can take a small one. The problem is that there are no sensible safes. we had a closet. but we put all the photographic equipment there. everything was ok. in principle, there is a lot of Internet cafes there.
