It will not be cheap through an agency, but you yourself will spend a lot of time, because moving around in the center of India yourself is not the same as in GOA, it is much more difficult and expensive, and it is not possible to rent a car. And indeed, going only to the Taj Mahal is also not very reasonable. There are many interesting places in India in general, and if you spend money and time, then with maximum benefit for yourself. But keep in mind that GOA is not very similar to central India, neither in terms of cuisine, nor in relation to tourists, and everything around will be different. GOA is not India, it is an adopted resort for foreigners.

This tour operator stole from me for 2 days - I left 10 nights and changed the flights to night ones, so it turned out 8 days ...
