Which?
Hello folks, good morning everyone :)
Please tell me\. good hotel - 4 *. Maybe you can relax in 3 * (suddenly there are such options?),
A couple more questions: what type of vacation in Jordan is better to choose - an excursion, then a beach or a beach with a periodic outing on an excursion? I have a vacation this year - 2 weeks at the beginning of September.
Track. Q: Actually, I wanted to go to Israel. but a friend who lives there does not advise (due to the current situation on the border with Sinai). I read reviews of a year and 2 years ago, there was nothing like that, many people advised me to go there, but then - this is not now ..
And in general, general impressions about Jordan and about hotels (I came across one review of some lady who

stated that there are few hotels there and most of them are for divers (!!)
Please share opinions and advice if anyone can.
Thank you all and have a great day.

I'm going by myself in September. to the dead sea.
I always advised everyone - first excursions, and then the sea. or just some excursions, if it's in Jordan. but you have 2 weeks, you can afford both.
which resort do you want?
for example, I’m upset because it’s very far from the Dead Sea to Petra (and this is a must-have trip), and to other excursions too (according to tourists in the reviews) + everything is expensive.
it makes sense to still choose a hotel near Petra or Aqaba. I haven't fully figured it out yet
аватар Viltis
As I understand it, you are talking about Aqaba and about hotels on the Red Sea. There are really few of them, the entire coastline of Jordan is 24 km, most of them were allocated for private villas. The beginning of September in Jordan is a hot time. Excursion .. Well, that's Petra and the Dead Sea, that's all. Will it be hot to drive? It is not hot to walk in Petra itself, it is in the mountains. The border with Israel from Aqaba is almost on foot, very close. Like the border between Israel and Egypt. Everything is nearby.
To be honest .. do you need to go there in September in the heat? There are so many countries that are very comfortable to visit in September. The same Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Cyprus, Spain. At this time of the year, the choice is huge. Jordan .. not the most successful .. Well, I would not go :-)
аватар sandra-art
taste and color as they say. I stayed in Lebanon for 2 months until mid-July and felt quite comfortable. did not feel the heat. I'm generally cold in life and the hotter the better
аватар Viltis
And you don’t even need to think about solar radiation and skin cancer. It's all such crap..
аватар sandra-art
there are protective creams. people in Africa live and get sick with cancer less often than our compatriots. I didn't spend 2 months on the beach.
and at +40 I felt quite comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt or a long sundress.
аватар DegusT
yes, September is not the best time, it will be hot. Although I am also a cold one ... I can stand 35 degrees in the shade normally ... but higher it is already more difficult. I was in early November and in December - that's a normal "summer" ... although there were moments of boiling ...
on the Dead Sea with hotels do not accelerate, all 5 * and only one 4 *, on the Red Sea there are all options ... Near Petra in the Place of Wadi Musa, you can book an overnight stay in order to catch both sunrises and sunsets (maybe a night fire show) - worth Togo. But everything is not cheap there ... there are no hotels for 30 dollars.
For 2 weeks it would be great to spend 4 days on Kr. sea, 4 days - on an excursion and a week on Mert. sea - because the therapeutic effect will be there.
Read my reviews, see albums.

safsaf - I'm just going to Movenpick)
аватар Viltis
Movenpick to which?
аватар Viltis
Yes, and people in Africa have a different kind of skin. And we have the highest level of skin cancer in Uzbekistan.
Although .. what am I trying to persuade? This is your health, you are an adult.
аватар sandra-art
Movenpick, which is on the Dead Sea
аватар Viltis
I have been to Taba Movenpick and Wadi Musa Movenpick, they are all very good. I'm also going to Movenpick in Thailand.
аватар Loki-Agnii
Zhaarko - how much? 30-35 or?
I don't want to go to the Dead Sea, it's impossible to swim there. So Red.
Only the political situation is annoying - military operations.
I don’t really want to go to Greece, Montenegro, Spain, since I have already been to Spain twice ..
But as far as hotels are concerned...
аватар Viltis
When I was in September it was +37+42. Well, the sun .. respectively.
Montenegro in vain sweep aside. September is the golden time there. I really liked Montenegro.
аватар sandra-art
Yes, Montenegro is great. about military operations - our press exaggerates everything. I spent 2 months in Lebanon and all 2 months my mother called me on Skype in hysterics that I had a war, and everything was quiet and calm. I have been to many cities in Lebanon, not only in Beirut. everything is great. Everything is calm in Jordan too. not calm at the moment in Syria and Iraq, something explodes. maybe soon there will be problems in Iran
аватар Loki-Agnii
So, you can still pull to Israel?
If anything..
And then you look like that - it turns out that it’s better to roll from Israel to Jordan than just to Jordan .. but, probably, I'm wrong?
аватар sandra-art
Israel needs at least a week to see everything
аватар DegusT
Israel and Jordan are completely different conditions. Israel is an eternal conflict, people go there for various reasons, knowing that something can happen at any moment .... (you know what). Jordan is a monarchy, takes neutrality with all surrounding countries. Like Switzerland in Europe. Therefore, it is always calm there ... who will say that there have been military upheavals in the last 20 years?
аватар Viltis
I agree, Jordan is an Arab Switzerland. Arab sheikhs keep money there precisely because Jordan is pursuing a policy of non-alignment.
But this does not change the heat :-) I liked Jordan more than Israel. You can return there, probably from mid-October.
аватар Loki-Agnii
In any case, I would like to know more precisely: what is there in Jordan, what to see in a week, so that later you can calmly lie down on the sand by the Red Sea?
Conflicts are conflicts, and in Israel I really liked it in my time; Too bad it was only one day.
And another question about hotels in Jordan and Israel (well, if anyone owns the info): 4 or 3 star hotels - is there a difference? If 3* hotels even exist?
аватар sandra-art
Jordan has PETRA.
Amman and Jerash
Kerak
Holy places - Betania, Madaba and Mount Nebo
Wadi Rum desert

open any guide to Jordan, get acquainted. It makes no sense to rewrite texts that have long been written here.
There are 3* hotels on the Red Sea, but they are not on the coast... The coast is so small that not all 5* hotels have their own access to the sea... You just need to open a Google map and see the location of hotels in Aqaba and further towards Saudi Arabia . If you can’t pull 5 *, then choose 4 *. In 3 * - I do not advise ...
аватар DegusT
A few more comments: I lived in Movenpick and in Aqaba (it has its own beach), and in Petra and Nabatee, and on Mert. sea - all excellent, I recommend.
about skin protection: when comparing Uzbekistan and other places on earth, we must not forget that Mert. sea minus 400 m below sea level, you are physically in the deepest hole on Earth, and the Sun, as an object, is the most distant. What more protection do you need? don't believe nonsense.
I wrote about the heat, it will not be comfortable before the end of October (so as not to look for air conditioning during the day) ... but if there is no other period for rest ... then be patient.
аватар Viltis
But who is talking about the Dead Sea? There, in general, everything is different and the danger is completely different.
аватар Loki-Agnii
Thanks for answers.
In Jordan, I'm only interested in the Red Sea part)
аватар Anastasia23
We rested in Aqaba, 5-star. Intercontinental. Read my review. In 3-4 stars, you can safely travel to Europe, in my opinion, but in the East ... I don’t know, I wouldn’t risk it
аватар sandra-art
Anastasia - how many from Aqaba to Petra and other sightseeing sites? and then the info is one thing, but the reviews are completely different
аватар nat54
I was in the above places .... a lot of very nuances. If you have any questions, ask in a personal
аватар Anastasia23
we went to Petra by taxi, it's cheaper - the taxi driver took us there and brought us back when we needed to. I don't remember the exact travel time, about 1.5-2 hours. you should definitely go to Petra, the impression is unforgettable. and the official tour operator asked for some unrealistic price for the trip.
аватар Alex_classic
That's right - if you really go to Aqaba, then either 4-5 * in Tala Bay, or 5 * in the city. The remaining options are very problematic for those who come for the sake of the sea.
