On my last visit, I didn’t fix the cafe that we went to from Gale Light House. Here it is two steps away - and is called "Refresh". :)
And on the Chaya Trans beach, for junkies, weed is not expensive. And these stoned drug addicts ride jerks on boats. The fun is full.

Maybe next time you should go to a quieter place than the former hippie haunt of Hikkaduwa? For example, in Wadduwa / Kalutara. Weed is not particularly bothered there, boating, too. And in the HARIDRA RESORT & SPA 4 * hotel that seemed nice and spacious to me, there is enough seafood on the menu, and the kitchen is worthy of all praise (although it doesn’t torment you with pangs of choice, as in Jetwing Lighthouse :)
With only 30 rooms in the hotel and a minimum of people around, not rest, but honey ...

Lanochka! Thank you for the recommendation - but, to my deep regret, this is the last visit to Ceylon. :( In Hikkaduwa, you could also have a decent rest in Chaya Trans or in an inexpensive guest house, but it happened. :( The office cannot return the money, we are waiting for the 20th to leave here.
