About five years ago we flew through Paris to the Dominican Republic, we liked it very much, but there were nuances on the way back. I would like to ask, did you rest on the coast after the excursion? Did you fly back from Cancun to Mexico City, and then further or somehow differently? And one more thing: what are the prices in cafes along the route, how tiring are the journeys (distances seem to be not small), and in general, what is the budget for the day (without souvenirs, with normal food)? From Cancun we flew to Paris, and from there to Kyiv. We also had a problem, the flight from Cancun was delayed and we missed the flight to Kyiv. There is another option via Amsterdam, there is more connecting time, but the plane does not fly from Cancun to Amsterdam every day, you need to adapt. We had the same problem with the flight from the Dominican Republic on the way back - with the already short time for docking in Paris, the plane from Punta Cana was also late, the French did not want to help in any way, all through a scandal. But there were ten of us from the Kiev flight, and we still managed to get settled in a hotel for the night, but the sediment remained.
