I would recommend small cozy towns, not The Hague) I liked most of all: Delft, Edam-Vollendam-Marken (three villages near Amster and each other, very colorful), Leiden (+ botanical garden), you can go to Haarlem, Alkmaar (cheese exchange-mast si), there are also castles-HetLoo, or DeHaar near Utrecht and others.
