Nice area in Bangkok.
I would like to stay for a couple of days in Bangkok, in some busy place from where it would be more convenient to explore the city to the maximum. A good shopping center would be at hand.

We are staying in Bangkok at the Citin Pratunam 4 * hotel. It is located in the "Indian" area of Pratunam, it is one block from Baiyoke Sky. The hotel is small but new and well managed. From the hotel there is a free tuk-tuk to the shopping center quarter (10 minutes if traffic jams). Shopping market rows and shops begin very close to the hotel. Not very close to palaces and temples, taxi 70 baht one way, to the airport - 300. Surprisingly quiet at night, computers with internet access in the lobby are free.
One minus - vegetarian breakfasts, "meat" is only soy, but there is a choice.

If a couple of days in Bangkok, then how can you do without the famous Bayok Sky hotel. This is one of the highest hotels in Asia, the view of Bangkok from the observation deck is impressive. This is the center, the market is right in front of the entrance, the nearest shopping centers are 10-15 minutes on foot. Nearby is the younger brother of Bayok Suit. To be honest, we liked the suite more, the rooms are better, a little cheaper.
