What kind of hotel do you need - big, small? What level in the stars is at least approximately? :) Otherwise, guesthouses and Napasai differ very much :)
From personal experience, I know two optimal ones at the southern tip of Chaweng, as for my taste, in terms of price / quality, they are both about 4 * :)

I was on Koh Samui, but on Lamai (in Jasmine) and with a child, so I didn’t actively move around the island. I liked the hotel itself, by the way, someone positions it as 3 *, while others as 4 *. This time we are planning on Chaweng. Optimally somewhere hotels are 3 + -4 *, but 5 are possible, if at a reasonable price.
