There are no people, everything is closed, construction near the pool, even the internal market worked only at 20%. Those cafes on the right along the beach where you could eat (the only normal place) are closed. A nightmare. The hotel is just dead now. The sea there is also very dirty, as elsewhere in Pattaya. It’s sooo far and expensive to get to the city, because a tuk-tuk costs 300 baht and it’s simply not realistic to find fellow travelers now. There are also good hotels in the city, on the second street. The accommodation is just great. My advice is to change the hotel. This is not difficult to do at the agency where you booked the tour. And in the city of entertainment you will find a lot for yourself and for the child. Walk even along the promenade and go to supermarkets. There are 4D cinemas and fear rooms, etc. From the Ambassador it is simply not realistic to do it every day. Pay extra. You will then return this money at least at the expense of getting to the city and food.
