Where to eat?
I read the reviews and realized that it does not make sense to spend money on food in a hotel. And expensive and not very tasty.
Can you please tell me where you can eat decently near this hotel? So that it is checked and qualitatively. I would not want to get poisoned in any eatery. Thanks.

Yes, the hotel has enough breakfast. Where to eat near this hotel I will not jump, but Thai "catering" is at a high level. I have not heard of cases of poisoning. In any mobile tray (makashnitsa) - the food does not cause any complaints about the quality. To taste - for an amateur - it's still national cuisine. You can see where the Thais eat - the view is unpresentable cafes, but the price will surprise you.

Hello. There are places to eat near the hotel:
1. Russian restaurant EURASIA, located opposite the central exit from the hotel up the street 100 meters
2. Near the Long Beach hotel, which is not far from yours (at the exit from Tsentar, turn left and walk 400 meters) - there are a large number of cafes. All tested on their own stomach, everything is very tasty, there were no problems.

When we arrived at the hotel, they offered to pay some amount, plus the hotel gives a bonus. This money can be spent on food or spa. At first they refused, then they regretted it. The cheapest program could be taken. When you come back in the evening, delicious cakes in the lobby, the flame grill restaurant is chic, everything is included in the original price, only tea !!!! paid and expensive. And outside the hotel they ate: from the hotel you can see a crab on the shore in a cafe with claws, very tasty, fresh shrimp, rice is different. And along the street that goes to the main street, if you walk from the hotel, then on the left closer to the end of the street there is a German open restaurant (under a canopy), inexpensive and tasty, different cuisine. It is a pity that they told us about him on the penultimate day of our stay. Go to the hotel, you won't regret it. Very beautiful interior, torches on the territory, we still remember.

usually people who found money for Centara eat in it. And if you don’t live in the center and walk around the city in search of cheap food, then why book Centara? You will not spend time in it, but you paid huge money.
And food can be found on Naklua. It's to the right of the hotel, immediately left to the main road. There are a lot of different cafes, including Thai ones.

forever you with these prices for the center. We went in July-August for normal money 130,000 for four for 13 nights, for the conditions that are offered in this hotel, it was not a pity. And now, 300,000. but the weather in August was great. sea 28, air 35.

and luxurious 2-room apartments with their own security and a swimming pool and full minced meat inside, near the market, the sea and tuk-tuks cost 32,000 for 13 nights for 4 (2 rooms). There is a difference?

especially since they go on excursions to Pattaya, no one is sitting in the hotel. That's what Pattaya is meant for. And in a luxury hotel, I would go to the islands. There is nowhere to go, so sit in a classy hotel like Centara.

hence the conclusion. Only those for whom these 150,000 are not money can spend the night in a hotel for 150,000. I perfectly understand the choice of such people. I would do it myself. But if 150,000 is not money, then why look for cheap food. This is where my logic fails.

Thanks everyone for the advice. But the question was not "Where is INEXPENSIVE", but where, in principle, you can eat WELL. Yes, I found money for Centara, and if they have a disgusting hawk, what should I do ??? Choking on cost?
Therefore, expensive and good / tasty, the words are not always synonymous.
Understood in principle. for taste and color ... enough of those orientations that people "in the subject" gave. The rest of the stream of consciousness I attribute to the category of "someone that's nice."
Thank you very much again. Nobody wanted to offend. Thank you.

to the question "Where is good?" or in general where, except for Centara, you can eat, I can offer the best option: call upon arrival, I will come and show everything. It's free. I think this would be better than any answer. Let's have a beer at the same time :)

Ay yes Amir... well... I completely agree with you, there is no logic here. in my opinion, it is better even, if without children, to go to Aisavan.

We also had a rest in Tsentar, we liked it very much. We took only breakfasts, dined twice at the hotel - once in a pretentious Italian hotel at the reception, the second time in a grill bar by the pool. In Italian, they took a sea platter (crabs, shrimp, mussels, etc.), garbage, all from long-frozen seafood and expensive. The grill bar is better, but still not ice. So I don't recommend dining at the hotel. Where you like it - exit the hotel to the right and go along a small street, along the way you will come across an Italian pizzeria, a German restaurant, a large bar, go out onto a big street (walk for about 5 minutes), there are a lot of cafes, we liked the "Tavern", there is Tom Yam soup with super shrimp, shrimp with garlic sauce and fish "with vegetables" - papaya, pineapple. The local beer is great. There is a good Japanese restaurant ZEN in shopping centers, but Fuji is worse, I don’t advise it there.

Thanks Marina, I'll keep that in mind.
Amir, thanks for the offer, I'll definitely call. I hope you will help us not only with food, but also with excursions.

Well, it's up to you :))))

Only from Centara. Restaurants are awesome. You don't have to go anywhere. There are theme nights every day in one of the restaurants. For example, an evening of Thai cuisine in a Thai restaurant. Buffet 900-1400 baht. Everything is very tasty. My husband and I, having read the reviews, on the first day went to look for acceptable food outlets. We went to the dolphins, but saw only cafes right along the road. All emissions from transport fly to food.
I watched how they cook vaunted pancakes with bananas. The merchant was wiping his hands on his dirty trousers. I rolled out the dough, counted the money and did not wash my hands! The eggs that are needed for making pancakes are stored right on the tray in the heat of +30!
So, lovers of Thai exotic, do not forget to take strong stomachs with you.
аватар Oleksii64
Well, what can I say about the preparation of pancakes ... probably, there are shortcomings and omissions :) Plus, restaurants, you don’t see how they cook there (maybe strictly observing all the rules!) - and not only in Thailand. Complaints about the stomach are rare.
