29.11-13.12.2010 Good afternoon! Jomtien Holiday (as it is called) is located at the very end of Jomtien, from Grand, 10 minutes by tuk-tuk. If you go to a hotel, it's not worth it. And if you relax by the sea, in the city, then you can. The food is so-so. But nearby there is a very cheap cafe. Hotel with bathrobes but no slippers. In the 5th floor building, sometimes lizards can be found in the rooms. Some rooms with a bath (rarely), more often a shower. The hotel is on a solid "3+". In order to save money, I would go there. Which is what I'm going to do in 2 years. Have a good trip!

You can spend the night in Thailand in any hotel. You won't be spending time there. And you can spend time elsewhere, including in expensive hotels, admission to any of them is free. We always "live" in a guest house, and spend time in expensive hotels. No one has ever asked why we came here.
