This is not Egypt, you will only stay at the hotel at night. We were lucky - the 18th floor, a great view, and the room itself is better than some Egyptian 5 *. I saw cockroaches fried in macaroons, there are enough of them !!! once I saw a live one, I landed on a tent at Aulette Mall, how much my wife hates living creatures and she is amazed by the size, cm 7-9 is huge, I tried to photograph it !! and there was no living creatures in the room, although something flew through the balcony a couple of times, we slept at night with the balcony door open. We lived in Pattaya park in November 2011, in a building with a tower, upon check-in we got a room on the 5th floor (the room is excellent, but there is no view), they immediately approached the reception, they said that they didn’t like the floor, on the second morning by 12 o’clock we were changed room on the penultimate floor - the view is awesome! There were no cockroaches in the room (as well as in the dining room and in other rooms we did not see!), But there were small ants, but they were so small and going their own way that we coexisted peacefully without touching each other (we kept all products in the minibar so as not to tempt the ants). The rooms there are all excellent, the furniture is not very new, but the hotel can really be compared with the Egyptian or Turkish 5 * both in terms of the number of rooms and the territory. What they call huge cockroaches here is a banana beetle, it can also be found indoors in Africa, it can only accidentally get into the light if you leave the window open. Be sure to visit the River Kwai. There is rafting in vests on the river, and a night in "huts" on the river, elephant riding, elephant shows, thermal springs and waterfalls.
