Pattaaya Park Beach Resort 3
Tell us about the "cons" of the hotel, except that it is far from the center. We just don’t want to go to the center (we go to travel on two-day excursions, in Pattaya itself, in the hotel the main thing is rest between excursions, i.e. away from the noisy "tourist" streets). Who was in this hotel, who heard about the "features" of living in it (theft, how to insure against this, etc.).
Thanks for the advice! :-)

A friend was there and was quite happy. Not a word about theft and so on.
It can be a little on the nerves of those who trample in the lobby, going to the observation deck at the top of the hotel, but there is a separate elevator for them, if my memory serves me right. We went to the water park there, it seemed that the beach was convenient there, nearby, the sea was pleasantly cleaner than in Pattaya itself. The hotel is a little "tired", but that's nonsense. But if they haven’t updated the slides, then it’s better not to risk a swimsuit! :))

-Hotel in the style of a student hostel,
- Poor transport location
- inhabited exclusively by Russian tourists according to fortune
-and their spoiled servants and taxi drivers,
-permanent "guests" on the observation deck and in the pool.
But if for the first time in Pattaya, then you might like it.

and it’s not far from the center, we lived in a building without a tower, there’s no crowd there. It’s ideal for trips on excursions, because if a half-day excursion there is always something to do at the hotel, the beach is nearby, the water park, although dead, an observation deck, a bungee, a small amusement park, its own territory near the hotel. We had our own safe in the room, we lived in a deluxe suite, believe me, this is important, because we suffered with safes at the reception in other hotels, it was very inconvenient. There was no theft. you can safely go

Theft in Thailand is no more and no less than in other countries. But in the rooms there are rarely problems with this, although it is not worth provoking the staff by leaving money and equipment in sight. Just clean everything up when you leave the room. The hotel is located not so far from the center, there are plenty of hotels at a greater distance. It is simply located away from the highway, so the price tag for all transport is quite significantly overpriced. The hotel itself is a shabby three-ruble note, has long been waiting for a full renovation, this also applies to the water park. It is very difficult to call it quiet, it is really full of guests in the water park, the play area and on the observation deck with a restaurant. But it is quite possible to live, there are better and worse hotels, everything is for everyone and for your wallet. As for excursions, you will have to take it from the operator at an inflated price, since you do not plan to get out of the hotel.

gricay As I understand it, people have already opted for this hotel and specifically ask about the MINUSES of the hotel, and not about its pluses, they are also there.

we lived in a building without a tower - excellent, quiet, calm, we didn’t notice any theft, we didn’t climb things))), it’s a 5-minute walk to tuk-tuks, if you don’t go into all the tents along the way))) Of the minuses, monotonous breakfasts, but this, they say, is everywhere in Pat. so.

to 23122005: I measured it, it's 850 meters. If at such a pace and straight ahead, then in 15 minutes we will be on Walking Street) Can’t you post a video of how you walk a kilometer in ~ 5 minutes? ... without going into stores))

So, after all, how long does it take to get to tuk-tuks (on average)? And how much does it cost to get from this hotel on a tuk-tuk, which goes like a taxi, to the pier?
I would be grateful if you advise

Walk from 10 minutes, and 10 km / h as in uv.23122005 - this is already race walking)
Tuk-tuks near the hotel, they drive like a taxi and it will be from 100 baht per car to the pier, and as you agree. On the route Tuk-tuk - 10 baht per person, but he will not call at the pier and will have to get off at the Marina Plaza hotel. In general, this is nonsense, but for actively moving single tourists, the savings are significant.

we agreed to sign for 100 baht for two from the hotel in the morning to the lirs, if you didn’t agree, then we started walking to the tappray road, as a rule we caught up and said let’s go, and it took about 10 minutes to go to the tappray itself, if you didn’t go anywhere, in the evening we went to the center only for a regular tuk-tuk for 10 baht, they changed money on the way, bought fruit. a wonderful route, by the way, we also stepped onto Buddha Hill on foot from Pattaya Park, it turned out to be a bit far, but we reached it. and we liked the hull without a turret much more. I returned from Thailand for two weeks, I was in Pattaya for three days, and specially with my friend I went to Pattaya Park and wandered along this street. i liked pattaya park very much. and since you are going to go on excursions, we made a rough plan of excursions here on the site with Amir in advance and went through them all, wonderful and without overlaps, this time they organized a transfer for us to Koh Chang (we bought the hotel ourselves through savage) and back, plus a trip from Pattaya to the military beach, everything is also clear.
