Near your hotel - nowhere! Tuk-tuks are not easy to get, although if you go in season, you can. The food in Thailand is delicious. Their cuisine is one of the best in the world!

be sure to try the Thai soup - I, a lover of sea reptiles and spicy - liked it very much, I recommend it.
Lobsters are not for everyone, but the sizes are impressive!
In which institution - the newspaper "Inform-Pattaya" (or something like that) will help you - it is in every hotel, and in Russian.
Well, by itself - you will see the darkness of establishments on the Pattaya waterfront :)
I also liked the street cuisine - although they were frightened, I also ate fried grasshoppers :) - alive :)
Of course, fruit. There is a whole fruit market in Pattaya, where there is a huge selection!
By the way, in the mentioned newspaper - a description of all local fruits is given in order to understand what you are buying. For example, I didn’t like the dragon eye, to put it mildly ....
Have a good trip and bright impressions!

The most delicious food in street stalls (where they cook next to you). In cafes, too, nothing (in restaurants, the same thing but 2-3 times more expensive.
The most delicious fish and seafood were on the evening layout to the left of the Alkazar show (second street from the embankment) - a long row of stalls and a number of tables (take my word for it).
If you want to try all sorts of things (I'm not talking about fried larvae or cockroaches - it's everywhere) go to the Pattaya night market (only works in the evening when the heat subsides) - this is on the outskirts of the third street in the heart of the city, ask the guide how to get there and days work/.
NEAR THE HOTELS DO NOT EAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thai soup - probably meant Tom Yum. This soup is already like a visiting card for food in Thailand. There are different options - tomato (in my opinion the most delicious), King, with green curry, with coconut milk, with seafood - you will understand the menu. Sweet and sour, with seasonings unknown to us, I saw a "soup set" of spices for tom yum in the store, you can bring it home. Be sure to try the Thai noodles - yummy. In a cafe, the menu usually includes European dishes and Thai dishes separately, even at a price you can immediately see, Thai ones are 3-5 times cheaper, but this does not mean that they are worse, they are better, and where else to eat Thai cuisine, if not in Thailand. And portions are twice as big as European ones. But bread is in short supply and there are few potatoes, in the end you want it, but you can survive. From the usual meat pork and chicken. Usually dishes can be ordered in three versions - sea food, chicken or pork. When I wanted neutral sea food - they took tuna, there is no smell, meaty and very tasty. Yes, even at first it is unusual - they cook food not as thoroughly as we do - but very quickly, therefore, in our understanding, it is sometimes half-baked, the shrimp are crunchy. But this is for someone like, for example, my husband is just right, he can eat everything raw.
