Dear forum users!
Well, the tickets are bought, the hotel is booked. And doubts begin to overcome ... What, where, how and why? We are going with our son on our own.
The following program of excursions was previously drawn:
1.Mini Siam
2.Sea safari.
3. Siam park,
4. Crocodile farm.
5. Nong Nooch.
6. Bangkok.
What do you say? Maybe something to remove or replace? Will it be interesting for an 11-year-old son? Yes, by the way, my son has a birthday just during our trip. What excursion would you recommend on this day. I was thinking a sea safari?

I would definitely add a two-day excursion to the River Kwai to this list. Son will like it)

Mini Siam - quite interesting;
Nong Nooch is also not bad, but don't get too carried away, there are a lot of identical plants, it can get very boring, most importantly, visit the performances with a guy.
If the Sea Safari is a walk around the islands, I advise you to leave it closer to the finish of the trip, otherwise you will get burned, and you won’t even want to look at the sea in Pattaya.
If the guy loves animals, take a ride to Khao Kheo - a cute, cozy zoo.
I advise Bangkok, you still need to see the capital of the country in which you are visiting, but it is tiring.
Expeditions are best arranged in a mode: a day of excursion - one or two for rest, so that everything does not mix up in a heap.
If the crocodiles are combined with the Million Years Stone Park, then good.

Yes Yes! Quie by all means!

About Kwai agree. But there is one big BUT! We only have a week for everything. It has already happened ... And my son really wanted to.
About Maritime Safari Accounting! Let's leave for the end. There were doubts about the zoo, now everything is for sure!
Is it worth going to Siam Park?
аватар Marina_T
And 6 excursions in 7 days will not be stressful for a child? and also take into account the long flight to Tai
аватар V.A.S.
Trying to remember what Siam Park is.
In fact, entertainment is often duplicated on excursions.
By the way, it’s better to go to MiniSiam at half past five or five in the evening, there are walks for two hours, and in the dark everything is beautifully illuminated (it gets dark at half past seven), rest after a sunny day.
My advice: give up Bangkok, see the crocodiles along the way in the zoo, they are the same everywhere, go to Nong Nooch at the very beginning, in the morning (get used to their sun in the shade).

I looked at the hotel, it is in a very good place, from there you can take a walk to the Temple of Truth, and the sea is quite good there, I think you will succeed in your vacation, I wish you with all my heart!

I agree with the previous answers, but 7 days!!! Bangkok and Kwai fall 100%, unfortunately. Somehow it is necessary to compact the excursions ... Maybe, instead of a sea safari, a beach on the island of Koh Lan, and in the evening, Minm Siam. Nong Nooch and Million Stones Park + crocodile farm (there is a small zoo there, I think, first the park, and then Nong Nooch) - two more days. Siam Park is something I can't remember either.
аватар Oleksii64
And if so: 2nd day - Nong Nooch, 3 - Ko Lan + Mini Siam, 4 and 5 - Kwai?
аватар larissa_s
Thank you all very much for your advice!
I thought on the first day to visit Mini Siam in the evening. We arrive in the morning, so we will have time before five o'clock.
And about tiring or not, I think that we can do it, and if not, there will be a reason to return for a longer time.
V.A.S.-is it possible to walk to the Sanctuary of Truth? What is the best time?
Ko-Lan is not sure. I'm more inclined towards sea safari. I'm not a big fan of felting on the beach, and the child will only return from the Crimea (two weeks of sea-beach).
аватар V.A.S.
On the beach, anyway, longer than until eleven, you should not be, so go there. If you look at the map (and you can find them free anywhere, at least at the reception in the hotel), from your hotel the direction is north. It seems that they let you in until four, but it is very beautiful from the outside.
Koh Lan is an island in direct line of sight from Pattaya, you can generally drive to it at least every day. Get to the pier, there for about 50 minutes the ferry (30 rubles from the bow) quietly crawls, and you are on the island. I advise you to do this at least once, it will diversify your vacation :)
аватар V.A.S.
And the tediousness of a trip to Bangkok is not so much in walking along it, but in sticking around in traffic jams until you get there. Although my friend, who had just returned from there, was delighted, the main thing is to choose an excursion so that, in addition to the temples and the palace, the Aquarium is included.
аватар larissa_s
V.A.S.-thank you very much for your answers. Ko-Lan was practically persuaded.
Can you tell me more about how to get to Koh Lan, how to get to the pier? Do tuk-tuks often go?
аватар V.A.S.
after Dubai will not impress.
Knock-knock. From the hotel you go to the "Dolphins" - a fountain, an excellent landmark, and walk towards the sea just a few steps. Here begins the street that runs along the coast, Bay Street, it is also the First, along it tuk-tuks go only in one direction, towards the port. So, the tuker will signal itself if it has places. Without saying a word (this is important!), you just climb into the back and drive to the very end of the street. This is determined by the huge inscription "VolkinStreet". Then press the bell, go to the driver and pay. I have not been there for a long time, but it seems that the price has not changed, ten per person.
Why you can’t talk: he immediately crumples himself a taxi and the price soars to hundreds per trip!
Go along the "Volkin" towards the port (pier), it's about seven or eight minutes, and ferries are already standing there. I won’t tell you the schedule, it seems that they start walking at eight in the morning or earlier.
You will then figure out that on the second street tuk-tuks go strictly in the direction of your hotel, just go in the right direction, they themselves honk.
(I'll add later)

Well, you are a real storehouse of the necessary information. I will print it out and take it with me as a guide.

I would appoint a birthday on the Flight of the Gibon tour
аватар V.A.S.
Thank you for the kind words! Here you will visit Pattaya, let's hope you like it, you yourself will begin to navigate like a fish in water.
About the flight of the gibbon. If children are allowed, if the guy is not afraid of heights. The equipment there, of course, is strong. But it's scary.
For some reason, Chuyuka (4uyka), also a big admirer of Tai, has not joined us yet, could advise something else :)
Knock-knock. Small pickup trucks, a canopy over the body, a ladder at the back. They go in crowds on the first and second, on the third (with two-way traffic) less often. If you know which way you need to go, then you move in the right direction, but not on the right side, but on the left. Someone will signal, or wave your hand. The same scenario, without saying anything, sit down and go. But it's good when I already figured out the main landmarks, otherwise we once thought about it and slowed down only when we saw a huge sign "Big C" already on South Street.
аватар V.A.S.
The sidewalk is on the left side because the traffic there is on the left side.
Perpendicular to Beach Road (not Bay Street, I'm sorry!), Second and Third, there are only three large ones: North (where the dolphin fountain is closest to your hotel), Central and South. You can walk along the Beach to the huge Central Festival, drink coffee there, eat ice cream, eat on the sixth floor, in short, relax in the coolness of air conditioners. Well, you can also see what is for sale there :)
And if you walk almost to South Street, then look into the Royal Garden. There are attractions on the third (?) floor, as well as a very cool fountain.

Good afternoon! In DR you can go to Siam Park! This will be a wonderful gift for a child. The flight of Gibbon or its analogue Canopy may not work, because the height of the child must be at least 140 cm and no one knows how he will react with height (Gibbons - up to 70 m, Canopy - up to 50m). Visit the gallery in the 3-d Art Paradise Inn format, opposite the Tiffany show!!! He will definitely like this. Instead of a Sea Safari, take Sea Adventures - from the experience there are much more positive reviews from families with children. From your personal rest and unforgettable impressions! If you need advice or help, please get in touch! With respect to you, Galina Streletskaya!
аватар larissa_s
Galina, can you tell me more about Sea Adventures - how are they different from Sea Safari?
And in
I also wanted Siam Park for my birthday.
I would fly on Gibbons myself ...

Dear ladies! Tell me what Siam Park is! Is this something new that has appeared in the last year and a half? Or my memory is failing me...
аватар V.A.S.
Everything! Slazala in Google (less than a year). This is a water park and this is Bangkok, moreover, next to the airport. Between the cities there, of course, the roads are excellent, the travel time is a couple of hours maximum.
They were not there because they did not travel with small cubs.
аватар cgistalker
V.A.S. This is a water park + amusement park, you pay for the entrance and all attractions are unlimited free, both amusement park and water park. There were last autumn, there were very few people and there were no queues anywhere at all. We received a lot of impressions.
1) We bought VIP tickets to Bangkok tourist information, they included lunch, this is very important, because you want to eat there. The price for VIP differed slightly
2) You can’t get there by tuk tuk, the taxi turned out to be 400 baht, including the speedway fee. It is better to use the tourist information transfer services.
3) We went back by city bus for 7 baht per person, the road back to the center took 2.5 hours. This bus is not recommended. Although if time allows, then why not.
4) There is nowhere to change dollars into baht
5) Many taxi drivers want to take you back.

Hello everyone! I want to advise you about a trip to Koh Lan. We came to the conclusion that it’s better to go there not by ferry, but by boat. Firstly, it’s much faster, and secondly, the boat goes around the entire island and drops off people on several beaches. Then, as from the ferry, you still need to get to the beaches by tuk-tuks. Also collects from the beaches. We liked Samae beach more. and back 150 baht per person. The ferry starts to go at 7.00, then at 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, etc. I think that Mini Siam will not be interesting for a child. - only half a day. The same Nong Nooch is also half a day. It is better to go with local TAs.
аватар larissa_s
4yuka, that is, is it better to go by boat? And land where we want (I also thought about Samae). Is there a difference on which day to go, so that there would be fewer people?
аватар V.A.S.
The people there are always the same - a bit too much :( but less in the morning :)
On vacation, there is absolutely no difference whether today is Monday or Saturday, in those parts, anyway.
Request: write on arrival, how you rested, we will read it with pleasure. Success!
аватар 4yuka
Yes, it’s better on a boat. Before Samay, they land on 2 beaches. Samay is the final one. Yes, and this beach is more updated than others. day, it doesn't matter.
аватар tnp4343
It cleared up a little. I’ll come and report back! Many thanks to everyone.
аватар Siam-galia
Good afternoon! Sorry, Larisa, I did not answer you right away. Sea Adventures has been running a musical cruise program for many years now. All the rest - Safari, Siamese barbecue, Robinson. - just encode the main part. Morsk
Those Safaris are a good trip. The main difference is that instead of a boat there will be a speedboat; on Adventures there is no landing on the beach, Safaris are landed on about. Rin (in my opinion, a minus if there are a lot of people in the group, because the beach is Quite small; on Adventures, dinner is cooked on a ship from freshly caught fish, on Safari it is impossible, as mentioned above, traveling by boat. It may seem to you plus riding on water "pills" - in this matter I will not advise - this is a matter of taste. A visit to Monkey Island is included in both programs. If you go to Sea Adventures, make sure you go with the Russian Adventures team !!! In Pattaya, street agencies sell cheap tour "Monkey Island", assuring that it is the same thing, but they will send you with plagiarists - cheap and cheerful, not a very high-quality copy!!!! With respect to you, Galina Streletskaya!

I advise you to add the River Kwai and Cambodia, as well as the Flight of the Gibbon. If you need help with a quality organization, write in a personal, I will give you contacts.
