Aiyaree Place 3* or Sea Breeze Jomtien Resor 3*
For the first time we are planning a trip to Thailand with a child of 12 years old. The choice stopped at the hotels Aiyaree Place 3 * or Sea Breeze Jomtien Resor 3 *. Advise which one to choose, I want the beach not very far (within walking distance), and so that it is convenient to get to various places (pier, shopping center, park, etc. Who saw these hotels "live" which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance to everyone for the help.

Hello Svetik.
I categorically do not recommend you to rest in Pattaya far from the sea. Pattaya is a very bad place to stay in principle. 3* hotels in Pattaya are 1* hotels in Turkey. You don't have to go there. Eat at least 4 * - there will be less disappointment. We were in Ambasabor Site Jomten5 * - really between 3 and 4 *, because. shit floats on the beach, the water is cold, there are pieces of bricks and concrete in the water. This is one of the best hotels in Pattaya. If possible, do not go to Pattaya.

I agree that it is not necessary to "rest" in Pattaya by the sea - it is dirty there. People swim to the islands to swim, and choose Pattaya for two reasons - either excursions or fun.
And I categorically DO NOT agree that 3 * in Thailand are bad. For many trips, I only once came across a bad hotel - Loma Resort & SPA in Pattaya, and then it was 4 *. There are a lot of good "three rubles", you just need to read the reviews.
"Ambassador" is by no means "one of the best hotels in Pattaya":(((This is a very weak hotel, who knows Pattaya a little, in the know.
SVETCHIK, both of you are not very good, Aiyaree Place, in general, on booking - 2 *. Ask the agent to select at least 5-7 hotels to choose from, look at the reviews and ratings on booking.com. And, other things being equal, I would take a hotel on Naklua (this is the north of the city), and not on Jomtien (this is the south), if you still want to swim - the sea, the further south, the dirtier.

Thanks,
Pachok, can you recommend 2-3 hotels on Naklua, only from not expensive ones?
аватар Pachok
On Naklua, look at The Ivory Villa and Citin Loft Pattaya, but you have to go to the sea in both cases. Closer - only more expensive hotels.
But, in general, there are a lot of hotels in Pattaya, not all of them are offered by operators, so it’s better to choose from the operator’s list what is suitable for the price. Then, from the rest, look at the reviews. Or do you want to travel on your own?

Of the 2 hotels, I recommend Sea Breeze. The hotel is across the road from the sea, but deep in the alley. Therefore, it is quiet there. There are 2 pools, which will please your son very much.

Pattaya is first of all excursions, parties, clubs and shows, and last of all the beach, because the sea is muddy and even dirty in places.

IF from three rubles - green park, prima villa. South - eurostar jomtien. Been there in person and highly recommend. And better than the fours of the coast of Antalya

If for the first time, I would recommend 3+ or 4* to choose. 3 * all the same, there are very weak, on the verge of 2 * In any case, do not compare Pattaya, neither with Egypt, nor with Turkey, nor with the Emirates. Tai is a different country and a different vacation, completely different. In Pattaya, I spent the night at the hotel, had breakfast and before going on excursions or to the nearest islands. The mistake in choosing a hotel here is not as critical as in the same Egypt, because sometimes there is nowhere to go beyond the fence, but here, on the contrary, all life is behind the fence. A hotel like Ambasabor is an exception for Pattaya, from there you really don’t run into Pattaya.

What can you say about Crystal Palace or Rita Resort & Residence? The reviews seem to be good, the price is also good. As I understand it, we will be small in the hotel, we plan to spend more on excursions and save on the hotel, where will it be more convenient to get from?

Personally, I would recommend considering Jamtien, the first half (closer to Pattaya). Not very noisy, as in Pattaya itself. Transport links are excellent, the money is cheaper than a number of hotels located closer to Pattaya but standing away from the highway. The water and the beach are relatively clean compared to the center or north of Pattaya. If necessary, there is a complete set around: shops, shops, souvenirs, cafes, exchangers, etc. There are also offices of local travel agencies, there, if you buy excursions, you certainly don’t take it from your operator, no matter how you scare and bred.

andreyvip,
is this in the Pattaya Park Beach Resort area? I'm not good with maps...

The Sea Breeze Hotel is located on Jamtien.

Guys!
Who writes that Jomtien is better than in the north, have you yourself been to Naklua? Or do you take the word of agents who need to sell hotels in Jomtien? I was both there and there. In the north, both the sea and the beach are MUCH cleaner.
However, see for yourself:

And I was both in the north and in the south, and I personally like it better in the south, about which I wrote and you don’t need to be so indignant if your opinion does not coincide with the other. I'm more comfortable on Jamtien. And I would not really recommend the Pattaya Park area, an old area is happy, located away from the highway. The advantage can be considered far from a new water park and a fairly large area around the hotels. After 11 everything dies out, I don’t know how it is now, and some time ago even the gate to exit to the embankment was closed. In fact, this peninsula, as it were, is located away from the main life and from the highway, too, which is slightly reflected in the price of trips. If you dance from the current that runs along the coast, then as far as I know, it goes just from north to south and this ledge, as it were, covers Jamtien and collects the bulk of the garbage. If you really go north, then the water there will be cleaner, but it seems to me a little boring there, the hotels there somehow stand separately, interspersed with houses, narrow dark streets, for me it’s not comfortable there, although the hotels themselves for the most part will be newer there, in my opinion.

I'm not angry, but I'm interested :)
Your position is understandable, but maybe it’s worth writing, as you just wrote - in the north the sea is cleaner and the hotels are newer, but dark and boring, and not in the south - fun and comfortable, but the sea is bad?
аватар andreyvip
the sea is the same everywhere, but the garbage sometimes floats, this is the answer, and it depends on the current, and on the number of vacationers. before, no one touched the garbage, but recently they have been quite actively cleaning up and they began to clean the sand on the beach
аватар andreyvip
And in the first version, I simply expressed my opinion, no more, no less, in the second I had to chew it. I don’t even recommend hotels specifically because it should be an independent choice

I was in the North, in Garden Sea View 4 *. The beach is normal, but at low tide the bottom is muddy, it’s unpleasant to swim.
