We were in Pattaya in November 2015. Prices have not changed much. In the room tip 20 baht, in a cafe 10% of the price of the check. Prices for tuk-tuks and taxis remained the same. Prices in street TAs are the same, but operators have lowered prices.

RETURNED FROM PATTAYA ON APRIL 22, EVERYTHING IS AS OLD, THERE IS PERMANENCE. ONLY IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO GO NOT TO PATTAYA, BUT TO PHUKET. THEN I WOULD CHOOSE PHUKET, PATTAYA STILL IS STILL STILL, IT SHOULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE ON THE ISLAND. AND THE SEA IS NOT PLEASANT. Prices have not changed much, only the people have greatly diminished. And so everything is in the same spirit. On excursions, I would recommend contacting these guys, we have been working with them for the 4th year.

And this silence on Koh Samui scares me, we are very active, and there we have 2 days to hang out around the island, and then only the beach. We need to go somewhere at least every other day. Even in Egypt, we cannot stay in a hotel for a long time, but in Pattaya and the surrounding area there is definitely something for us to do.

I haven’t been to Pattaya for more than 5 years, I was after it in Phuket and Koh Samui, the islands about the sea are of course much better, but it still pulls in Pattaya, there is something in it that makes you fall in love with yourself right away (I’m not talking about adult pranks ).
