Bring a T-shirt... and god
аватар ollennka
God is a dust collector, IMHO. I prefer to carry what will be eaten/used/worn out.

These trinkets are very convenient to carry.

I brought crocodiles from Cuba. Also a dust collector. But when I look at them, I remember Varadero

I have been to Turkey many times. I used to bring souvenirs, now I only bring dried olives in vacuum packaging. Unfortunately, you can't run into Thailand ... far.

Photo with trans :)
P.S. For crocodiles, you can get a fine and confiscation.

Crocodiles (stuffed animal) from the foreign exchange store. There, documents (Tarjeta) are issued for them. It's hard to bring home... they had to make special pencil cases so that they wouldn't break.

You can also dried mangoes, papaya, cashews, I always bring toothpaste "with an uncle in a hat", balm "with a tiger".

we brought dust-collecting elephants. soyat three together, waving their trunks ...
and so - teas, ointments, dried fruits, T-shirts (by the way, the very first one was thrown out before ng - 12 years old)))

Ointments - help iron. For arthritis, rheumatism and many other nasty things. In the Soviet Union, people were specially sent FOR CURRENCY, who bought ointments in Thailand for the USSR national teams, and on a smaller scale in various sports (bruises, sprains, rapid healing of fractures, etc.). It is advisable to use "fresh" - within a year. Because during long-term storage they lose their properties. This has been tested by us personally and by friends for over 10 years. Dry collections seasoned with vodka or alcohol are an excellent immunoboosting agent. Also tested for over 10 years. ;-). T-shirts are just for memory. I wear them all the time in winter and summer. Medications such as cat's whisker and others are also very helpful. We already have our list. A palm fiber hammock is a very good stray for giving. Also tested and tested by us, children and grandchildren. Much better and more convenient than our store ones. Yes, and cheaper. We usually carry dry matum. Great to brew instead of tea. And impressions!!!

Bring snuff sticks (menthol inhalers in the form of lipstick). They really help with a runny nose and are well decontaminated. Dried mango is delicious!

Coconut oil. You need to buy it not in pharmacies and tourist shops, but in a supermarket, in the grocery department.
Dried mango slices by weight - also in the supermarket.
Ointments, plasters - everything is not bad, you can buy, but don't expect a miracle. A miracle happens only to those who enthusiastically believe in their power and love Thailand.
"Sniffers" are excellent.
I warn against crystal deodorant and toothpastes - there may be an allergy and spoiled teeth, respectively.
A variety of beach textiles, from T-shirts to pareos, is not bad.
Blue tea is interesting for a souvenir, it has no taste and smell, only color.
But, if I "ordered" a gift from Thailand, I would ask for fresh fruit :) Mango, mangosteen, at worst, rambutan. I also don't like dustbins. Well, if people love Asian cuisine, they will be delighted with sauces and cooking sets, spices.

I also bring mostly fresh fruit! From Tai they brought a latex pillow, toothpaste, aloe vera in tubes, coconut oil, jelly or chewing candies, hair balm with uncle, crystal-desic, various creams and ointments for the face, under the eyes, a set for tom yum soup.
Oh, can you remember everything, there is 1 suitcase, back 2))
Dried mango without sugar now makes no sense to carry, in Ukraine for 480 UAH Thai in special stores dried fruits, there 500 baht per 1 kg. even more expensive in packages.

1 suitcase there, 2 back - that's for sure. It has never happened that they did not run to buy another suitcase :)

My 12-year-old husband remembers: everyone along Walking Street is like people, with a lady fight - and I, like a fool, with a suitcase ...

Fruit. The mango is great. And Durian will not be allowed to be transported. Take two dozen mangoes - you can't go wrong!
