In Thailand longer than 15 days?
The question for Ukraine is probably not superfluous, what is the easiest way to stay in Thailand for 20-25 days? 1) The consul in Kyiv - the work schedule does not allow allocating 2-3 days, a train, an overnight stay, we already need plane tickets, etc. 2) The other day I came across this: the operator in the package offers a tour to Cambodia and writes: the tourist pays upon return 1000 baht return visa. Does this mean that from the day of return from Cambodia, the period of stay in Thailand is again 15 days? (Like Russia-Ukraine 90
) And having planned Cambodia, can I take tickets for 20-25 days?

I also read on some forum, I realized that if you travel to an adjacent country, you can extend your visa for 14 days.
аватар belyaichik
Did you go by yourself or with an operator? Where were you??
аватар Oleksii64
to belyaichik, while writing, you gave the answer below, and also about Cambodia!, we think in the same direction! On the forums of the Russian Federation there were stories that you have to go at least once every 3 months to Goa, relax and renew your visa. No need 3 months, 20 days would be :))). I was modestly in Pattaya, but for max 15 days. TO-News Travel, Sayama Travel hosted, everything is great! I really want to do it again. And now I'm trying to plan more for the spring.

Where do you live?? I found a tour, I think in Dnepropetrovsk MANGOSTIN (this friend traveled from mango-Kyiv) A very interesting tour to Cambodia. If I find cheap tickets, I can combine them!
аватар Pachok
Yes, when leaving-entry, the countdown of 15 days starts again.
аватар Ten_Baht
That's right, so you can increase the period of stay in the country through a re-entry visa.

Went with friends last year. Visas were immediately made in Kyiv (now I'm going - I did the same thing, only now it's paid). They put a stamp with a visa for several months (there is no passport in front of my eyes now - I would say for sure). Friends were about 20 days (and also went to Cambodia with us). There were no problems.
Accordingly, if you have a long-term visa, what difference does it make what report comes from (but what you need to think about is so that you don’t have problems upon arrival - if you want more than 20 days of rest at the airport, show your air tickets back - and then you will explain why you get visas "he arrived" for 14 days, and a return ticket after 20 days).
I suppose that the only option is to take a visa in Kyiv - all the more it is not difficult. Call, discuss - a month ago I just stopped by and left 140 bucks with documents (there was no one from the consulate) and then took it away - respectively, mail for you ...
Indeed, they paid 1000 baht for a reentry visa - although the initial visa in Kyiv (as well as a visa on arrival) was given free of charge.
As far as I know, all groups in Cambodia are carried by one operator - and how much you buy a tour is the second question. I paid about $326/2 days with a 4 star hotel. "River City".

By the way, as an idea for residents of non-Kyiv. Send documents + money for a visa by courier mail to the consulate, after the passports are ready, again try to negotiate with the girl from the consulate and call the courier mail so that they take the documents from them with payment upon receipt in your city.
This is not Schengen to receive .......

Thank you! I will decide through the consulate ... I don’t want questions upon arrival at the VKK !!! :))) 140 is how many visas? Did you already have tickets? to belyaichik: I don’t remember the prices, but there are interesting Simferopol-Istanbul-Bangkok and promotions. It would be convenient for you. For TO-look at News Travel, Delta Travel (available through Ashgabat), Alliance, Passion Fruit, Heat (inexpensive Etihad). with TO, I have 50 to 50. I drive alone, English is far from perfect ... into the world, like a pretty penny ... dumb ... :)))
аватар belyaichik
Thank you for your answers. I called Simferopol about a visa by mail. The preliminary price is $ 50. But they are embarrassed by certificates from work (on letterhead, in English, with a guarantee of maintaining a job, etc.) Provision of a bank account (I have money in a stocking) Naturally, there are no tickets yet. I feel that it will be easier for me to go on an excursion to Cambodia!? In general, this is a dark forest for me.

Good morning, Oleksii64! Unless, of course, only these references suit me. It is simply surprising that in Thailand you can extend a visa with a passport, photographs and return tickets. And there is so much red tape here, and even with such detailed information, but oh well, otherwise I turn into a grouch. I just don’t want any questions at my work, and in general, I consider my personal pastime - It’s only MINE! Yes, now Sparta-Crimea called about $ 50, I realized that no one ordered visas by mail and she told me the estimated price (if I take a tour from them) Regarding the islands: we were in Phuket (Karon Beach), on Phi Phi (there are a lot of virgin corners, it's better to get up early, take a boat (it is desirable that there is a company of 4 people, then it's cheaper, but you can do it yourself, if funds allow) While there are no crowds of tourists, the perception is completely different. In some places, it took my breath away. And Simlana is a fairy tale. We were in the province of Krabi (something she reminded me of Crimea) In Bangkok, in addition to the programmed excursions, we rode along the Chao Prai River, visited China Town (by nature, I'm a shopaholic) In general, I realized that you can go to Thailand 1000 times and discover new places and impressions . Our tour can be found on MANGO (kiev) three islands for 1489))))

Oleksii64, I don’t understand or something. It doesn’t work for me: I tried through Google, Mozilla, Yandex, mail.ru-they go out ,,,, (nothing to do with visas) In general, I’m a layman in all this (I mean a computer) Therefore, I can’t see what documents and phone numbers are needed????
аватар belyaichik
Thank you! If you find out something new - write))))
аватар belyaichik
P.S. And I'm probably more of a teapot - for me, the search bar and the address bar are the same !!!
аватар belyaichik
Good evening, Oleksii64. I went to the news travel website (p5 tourist) The price is almost like self-propelled. information about the visa by mail with a letter of instruction - price 35 $)
аватар belyaichik
Oleksii64! We are going to Phuket or Koh Samui. I have never considered Pattaya. We are closer to beauty, palm trees, white sand. I think the Etihads will have something closer to winter.

Hello. Regarding phones, visas and documents - below is the link to the website of the Thai Consulate in Kyiv:
http://thaiconsulate.kiev.ua/?s=tel
http://thaiconsulate.kiev.ua/?page_id=3
You can also download the Aplication form (and a sample to fill out) there.
A one-time visa costs $35. Double more.
You can do everything yourself. I can send a certificate from work by e-mail (you can slap any seal and indicate any amount) - they don’t check). A certificate from the bank about money (if you have money, no one bothers you to go to the nearest branch of the same Privat to open a deposit for a month and ask for a certificate (for a fee - 35 UAH), and then a week later terminate the contract and collect the money).
As for tickets, they really need copies + a copy of insurance. But all the same, tickets are bought in advance - what's the problem?
аватар belyaichik
Thank you Russ2209! Do you need a certificate from the place of work in English? [email protected]
аватар Pachok
You can translate the help yourself, there are "blanks" on the net, Google translator will help everyone.
I opened several times at the consulate, they never found fault, they didn’t ask any questions. A couple of years ago, when banks stopped issuing deposits and the people (including me) raked everything out of the banks to the penny, I called the consulate and asked - there would be no certificate of what to do. The girl replied, literally "Mr. Consul is sympathetic to the current situation." Documents were taken without reference.
belyanchik, but you will still buy tickets, and, most likely, in advance so that the price is normal. So, after that, you can contact the consulate :)

Good evening, Pachok! Thanks for the answer. I already thought that I was asking stupid questions that no one wants to answer!? I want to learn a lot, but fears block everything! Of course, it’s good when everything is decided for you, booked, transported, your head doesn’t hurt about anything! But you want to build a vacation according to your preferences, and of course save money (especially in Thailand, given the road) This year we planned Samui. But it turned up, we went to three islands. I would like to know: on which beach do you prefer to relax, in which hotel? Which beach is better - Lamai or Chaweng?.....
аватар Pachok
I prefer to change a couple of beaches and hotels in one visit. Usually, after the arrival of four days, we bastard on Maenam - it is very sparsely crowded, people on the beach can literally be counted on the fingers, just what you need after working days and a long flight. The sea is deep, without pronounced tides, the sand is large and yellow, like a good cupcake :) the water is greenish, not transparent, coconut palms on the shore. Hotel "Florist Resort".
Then we move to the southern part of Chaweng, so that the "civilization" could be reached on foot, but people did not roam along the beach past us back and forth. The sea is turquoise transparent, the tides are visible, but not critical, the sand is white, I’ll write the name of the hotel in a personal message, if interested, I don’t want to advertise it once again :)
We went to visit "Zazen" on Bo Put, we liked the beach, approximately, like on Maenam. Yes, and the hotel is interesting, with a special atmosphere, maybe next time we will try there.
On Lamai in its best part - the central one - it seemed to me a bit too many people, although the sea and the beach are optimal - the sand is average, the depth is average. A significant disadvantage is that only in some places there are umbrellas, and the shade from the trees is clearly not enough for everyone. On Lamai, see "Thai House" and "Am Samui".
аватар Pachok
I want to warn you - when choosing a hotel, pay attention to reviews regarding low tides! This is a real problem. The sea recedes quite far, and usually during the day, the picture is extremely unsightly, it is impossible to swim. This applies to the northern part of Chaweng and Lamai.
There is also a wonderful bay Tongtakian, many tourists love it. It is far from everything, secluded, but there are also decent low tides, there is only a small part of the beach, where it is deeper and there is a passage between the stones to swim.
Chaweng Noi is also good, but the hotels there are on average more expensive than in other places.
Bang Po liked it, they came by car to watch the sunset, at the same time they bought it, water-sand, like on Maenam. There is nothing to do there without transport - everything is very far away.
аватар Pachok
Yes, what are you? Not only bungalows :))) Just the "Florist" I mentioned is the usual two-story buildings. There are no high hotels, it's true.
Z.Y. Gamalia's Aerosvit direct tickets for 730 USD "burned out" during the week.
аватар belyaichik
I’m looking at March-April (I’ve already tuned in through the Etihads, and then how it goes) Yes, I read that their buildings are no taller than palm trees. Maybe there will be promotions in winter.
аватар Pachok
I don't want to upset you, but March is not yet the season for Koh Samui, and April is the hottest month of the year in general in Thailand. That when it rains on Koh Samui it gives unbearable weather:(((This year in early April there were such rains and storms that people were sitting without drinking water and light, and the airport was closed for several days.
аватар belyaichik
Yes, for sure, I forgot how we were sitting on pins and needles before leaving for Phuket, because. there was information about the flooding, some could not be taken from the island, the tickets were gone.
аватар belyaichik
I will look at the tickets

Hello ! Has anyone lived on Mae Nam, at the Phalarn Inn Resort? Interested in the beach, are there any pronounced ebbs, like the depth, transparency of the water? We will be in July) Because I read in the reviews that in the middle of Mae Nam, in the center, where the Moonhut Bungalow hotel, the bottom is muddy - unpleasant) Yes, and like the hotel itself, a family bungalow (maybe someone saw it), there are not enough reviews, mostly foreigners write . Thanks !!!
