I usually search through airsales. Previously, AirAsia also flew to Koh Samui and other Thai islands of Thai Airways (flight plus boat, because planes of other airlines other than Thai were not allowed on the island). Now I see some other Bangkok Airways issuing a search engine. For February, up to 20 thousand per person, a direct flight without a boat is a little expensive, the flight + boat will be cheaper.

In Bangkok, you can go up to the top floor and fly away company, no problem. We took tickets from here, because we don’t speak the language. The food there really sucks, but it's so great. Below the market, it works from 6 in the morning, you can walk along the fast lane before the flight, all for 100 rubles. Cotton. Thais from all over are buying in bulk, hurry up. You need to go from the airport from the lowest floor along the blue line to the Rachatprarop station, and then walk nearby. For only 40 baht, and a taxi costs 400, and even traffic jams, you can get stuck, besides, they have left-hand traffic and they drive somehow. Good luck. It's cool, the sea was not always clean. In restaurants, do not go to the toilets, do not spoil your appetite. We lived on Koh Samui in Lamai Beach, at the Thai House Beach Resort, three rubles, but quite decent.

Better in February, of course, but we were in November, so we flew in for 3 days walking under the showers, and then waited for the sea to clear up. And in Bangkok at that time it was hot. Although November is considered a good season, they did not burn out in 2 weeks.

But getting to Phuket or Krabi from Bangkok will be cheaper than to Koh Samui.

I haven’t been to Phuket and don’t want to, especially in Pattaya, 20 years ago there was already a garbage dump. It's good on Koh Chang and on Samet. But on Samet, a purely family, relaxing holiday, without parties. But the protected area, birds sing and fish swim. And Koh Samet has the cleanest sea in Thailand.
