I have not been to this hotel, but it takes 2.5 hours to drive from Alanya itself. By myself, I will say that I have been to Turkey several times and once we also flew out at 5 in the morning. We arrived at the hotel at about 12. We just left our things at the reception, changed clothes and went to swim and walk around the hotel. Another + was that with an early departure, we managed to sign up for an excursion, which was the next day.

We have been to Turkey several times. An early departure is always better than a late one. I won’t say specifically about this hotel, but in most hotels they check in at 12 o’clock, not at 2 pm. In addition, if your trip is at the beginning of the season, there is a chance that the rooms are not yet occupied. Indeed, the road can last from 2.5 to 4 hours (depending on how many stops and where exactly your hotel is). But the AL system starts at 7 am, i.e. leaving things at the reception, you will go to have breakfast, you can go to the beach (because it is always possible to change clothes at the hotel), and there the room will be prepared. I am for an early flight. From personal experience: In 2010, we arrived early, at the hotel we were awake at 11-00 (because we slept on the flight), we were immediately sent for a second breakfast (still had time), and when we returned at the reception - they received the keys to the room, it was not yet 12-00. In 2009, they arrived late, they got the room right away, but they were so tired during the day of the flight that they retired to sleep - leaving a tour of the surroundings for tomorrow!

We sat at the airport for about 5 hours, because the flight was first (as it turned out already at the airport) postponed for 2 hours, and then another 2 hours delayed ((((The departure was at 5 am, we actually flew at 10. I am also for an early flight. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October 2010. We took off at 5 am. And the hotel was at 12. Settled at 14.00. From Antalya to go somewhere 2.5-3.5 hours. Personally, I do not recommend traveling to this hotel with small children. There is no beach, the entrance from the pontoon is deep. If the parents are good swimmers, then you can ride the baby on an inflatable ring. Or - only in the pool.
