Damlatas cave
We will rest at the Mukarnas hotel. There is a desire to visit the Damlatas cave in Alanya. I looked at the excursions that travel agencies offer, it seems that in Alanya it’s only a sightseeing tour or on a yacht. And I would like to get into the cave, and into the fortress. And not to lose half a day of rest in the shops "promoted" by the tour operator. Tell me how best to do it? Can you independently get to Alanya by dolmus and see the sights on your own? Thank you all for your reply.

tanushka80 is a worthy hotel! it’s not a question to get to and see the sights on your own if you know Alanya well or have read a lot about it, the guide (if you get a literate one, he will tell you much better and, of course, show everything. The view from the fortress in the evening is unusually beautiful from above, you can see both the eastern and western wing of the resort, great !!! (in the evening you need to go 2-4 people) At the expense of stalactites and stalagmites of the Damlatash cave, you definitely need to take an excursion. (THIS IS MY OPINION) maybe someone else will tell you.

You don't need to take any excursions. Better to rent a car for the day. Drive to Side and Alanya. Everywhere there are signs and not a cave and not a fortress and a tower. If without a car, then on the Manavgat-Alania dolmush (it’s better not to take big beautiful buses from Antalya-Alania - it’s expensive). And in Alanya from the final everything is simple. Stand facing the sea. On the right is Cleopatra's beach, there is also a cave (compared to New Athos - just a hole). On the left is the port, the red tower and a fairly long ascent along the road to the fortress itself. But interesting. Don't forget sun cream and drink!

I was on a sightseeing tour in Alanya. So it included a visit to the Damlatas cave, a visit to the Aladdin fortress and a walk along the coast on a yacht. So be sure to buy an excursion. Have a good rest! In 2009, the cost was $ 40
