For several years in a row (from 2013 to 2016) we went exclusively at the end of May with the transition to June and the children did not swim in the sea. They were cold. In general, the weather was already excellent, but the sea was cold for them, and for me too. But we went to a hotel with water parks where the pools were heated and even with sea water, so I didn’t worry about that. But one of the water parks (there are 4 in total) where water is pumped directly from the sea is cold for a very long time ... they start swimming there from mid-June and not earlier.
