it’s not worth going to Istanbul from Kemer just for the sake of shopping, because it’s a chore to “cut” 800 km back and forth by bus, and flying by plane for one day (50 minutes there and back) is not cheap (www.atlasjet.com ). And in Istanbul, running all day in the heat, through traffic jams to the Laleli area, where shuttle workers are bought (not near the airport) is also a headache :) It’s better to fly to Antalya through Istanbul and stay there for a couple of days (or on the way back) , then there will be enough time, and shopping will turn out to be of high quality, and not in a hurry.
