Good afternoon! For citizens of Ukraine, Turkey is visa-free. But you need to clarify about the insurance, most likely you need to arrange it and, of course, it is foreign. passport.

You only need a passport, not expired - must be valid for 6 months from the date of departure from Turkey. They have never asked for medical insurance, but it is better to have it for ... insurance, it is issued in any insurance company in Ukraine.

I flew in from Turkey three days ago, all I need is a passport and that's it. I flew from Odessa. Flight 1.5 hours. Everything else is up to you. Well, tickets were booked in advance. Medicine is very expensive. The husband went to the hospital with a temperature, a doctor's appointment 300 lire (about 1800 hryvnia). Tablets were bought in a pharmacy for 10 lira (about 60 UAH).

By the way, about pills. Who needs certain drugs - I advise you to go through Turkish pharmacies. There is a list dated by the state - their prices are lower than in Ukraine, the production is Turkish. There are imported ones, they are more expensive, but if it's German aspirin, it's definitely German aspirin! The prescription list is smaller than in Europe. I personally bought Turkish and German L-thyroxine for my mother, both are good, they don’t sell it without a prescription in Europe.

Sorry, subsidized.

More about tablets. The fact that you will not find anything in Turkey and everything is expensive there is a myth. This year they have convinced themselves. My daughter bought cupels of otrivin and ointment for arnica bruises. Everything is much cheaper than in Moscow. And prices are fixed. The price in lira is written directly on the packaging. Every pharmacy has the same prices. Arnica cost 24 lira like.
