How to build an itinerary for sightseeing in Istanbul?
Good afternoon! I will be 1 night in Istanbul. I want to visit the Basilica Cistern, a boat on the Bosphorus, Isiklal, the Galata Bridge, the Galata Tower and, if there is enough time, the Dolmabahce Palace.

Help build a route so that there is enough time for everything and include a shopping center in the route.

Well, start from the Cistern, then on foot or by tram to the Eminonu pier, pleasure boats start there, after the boat along the Galata Bridge (you can also have lunch on it) to the Galata Tower. On foot from the tower to the Shishkhane metro station, from which Istiklal begins. I don't know what kind of shopping center you mean, but Istiklal has a lot of shopping opportunities, you can go shopping there. Well, in Dolmabahce, with the approach "if there is enough time", you definitely do not have time, it closes early - at 16:00 or 16:30.

Buy a tourist bus ticket. This is the only option to see all the main attractions in 3-4 hours. Having the opportunity to get off and on the bus again without paying extra for anything. Plus an audio guide.

I do not recommend tourist buses in Istanbul. For 30 euros you will get a 30-minute bus interval and perpetual traffic jams. With the indicated route of 5-6 attractions, it is cheaper and faster to spend a few lira on the tram / metro, and walk 3-4 kilometers (the length of Istiklal is included).

Good afternoon. It is best to start from the Sultanahmet area, in addition to the Basilica of the Cistern, you can quickly explore Aya Sophia (admission fee) and the Blue Mosque (free of charge). Don't be in a hurry, spend about 2 hours. Further, instead of Dolmabahce, I would recommend going to Topkapi Palace (for a fee - I recommend taking a ticket without a Harem, there is nothing to see there). Topkapi has a stunning treasury, armory and clock rooms, as well as panoramic views of the city. The palace is located right behind Hagia Sophia, there is no need to go / go anywhere, which is very important in the time pressure mode. The palace will take 1.5 hours. Further, on a short road from the palace (15-20 minutes at a brisk pace along Ankara cad street), go down to the Embankment, where you will immediately see boats (it is cold on the water in winter, also buy bagels on the embankment to feed the seagulls). After an hour of walking along the Bosphorus, quickly cross the Galata Bridge and head for the Galata Tower. You will find it without a map, just go to it.

The bridge and the tower will take about 1.5 hours. From the tower on the map or on the tips of passers-by you will reach Istiklal in 25 minutes. And there - shopping without borders and restaurants.

I have already visited Aya Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace, and I decided to visit Dolmabahce on the way back, because. transfer at the airport will be 13 hours. AT

I advise you to use the services of professionals. In autumn I was in Turkey and ordered a tour from Zemexpert. Everything was well organized. We visited 12 cities in 8 days! + an experienced guide who spoke interestingly and answered all our questions. And so it all depends on you. If you want to get as much information about the country as possible in the shortest possible time, then I advise you to apply for a tour, and if you have a huge margin of time, then guidebooks are ideal)
