Tell me, please, who used MUSEUM PASS İSTANBUL?
I understand that the price of the card does not include audio guides and a ticket to the Topkapi harem. If I buy a card, how can I buy audio guides to Topkapi and Hagia Sophia, as well as a ticket to the Topkapi harem? Is there any separate ticket office for MUSEUM PASS İSTANBUL holders? Or is it possible to pre-purchase online? You really don’t want to stand in a general giant queue at the entrance, especially since the card gives you the right to priority entry.

A year ago, I bought a card for May, so there was an entrance to Hagia Sophia without a queue, and the harem also entered, they definitely didn’t pay anything separately. We bought a card for cash where the Topkapi entrance was, in general there was no queue for tickets and there were no queues for these cards.

you can buy online in advance, but you still have to go to the same cash desks
If there is a queue, then try to buy this card in the museums of Turkish and Islamic art, it is located next to the Blue Mosque, and there are always few tourists there

Thank you Vika284. And I can also ask you a question, as a super-connoisseur of Turkey.
Were in Istanbul in 2014 on a sightseeing tour. I remember we were taken to Suleymaniye on the last day. The bus could not drive close and we were led on foot along some old streets for minutes. On the way we passed a restaurant, in my opinion, Arabic cuisine. The guide told about it so entertainingly that this restaurant is several hundred years old and serves authentic dishes according to old recipes. I remember there was an open area on which there were tables with antique benches. I really wanted to go there, sit, but there was absolutely no time, since we were leaving home that day. Then I tried to find on the Internet what kind of restaurant it was, but it did not work out. Maybe you can tell me, or it is hardly possible to understand something from my description.
This restaurant is a 5-10 minute walk from Suleymaniye. And the guide also said that scenes from the film with Russell Crowe were filmed in it. Most likely we are talking about the movie "Water Seeker".

camomile don't know such details where this restaurant is located
According to the locations, the Turkish filming was where all the main places were the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, not far from the Suleymaniye Mosque in the Balat quarter (Balat), probably the restaurant in this quarter, the shooting was also in the Oludeniz area, and the Turkish bazaar was filmed in Sydney

Hello. It is convenient to buy the card itself in the evening near St. Sophia (there is a two-way kiosk, the ticket office to the left is usually empty, for some reason everyone crowds into the ticket office on the right) or near the Archaeological Museum. Calculate the cost of the planned excursions: the card has risen in price, it may not cover the purchase of tickets out of order.
On the map you will enter Topkapi without a queue. Audio guide right after entering the 2nd courtyard on the right.
Tickets to the harem are bought directly in front of the entrance to it (there is an inconspicuous door behind the Sofa, next to the ticket office and turnstiles. Last year, 1 ticket to the harem costs 35 TL.
We were in the morning, most of the tourists come in somewhere after 12.00. Good luck and enjoy your experience.
