The beaches are white, the water is clear, but - let's say in the hotel where I was - a concrete path into the sea, until you enter up to your chest - there is a clearing with sand, which is removed - you won’t enter the sea in other places - sea urchins are a solid carpet and corals.
You can go once, of course, but if you really go to Tanzania, it’s better to go to nat. parks - the Serengeti for example - the same money, but the incredible wildlife and animals around.

An interesting direction, when I read the brochures I wanted to go there, I just looked at the reviews of real tourists - not very much.

These are fundamentally different things, so the expectations of tourists are not justified, and they begin to complain. When choosing a hotel, one should take into account that there are very good beaches there - hotels are more expensive there, and there are beaches with very strong low tides, but the hotels there are more affordable. Why people are shocked by the presence of low tides and hedgehogs in the ocean is not clear, as if geography was not taught at school. African service - a separate song. You must immediately relax and tune yourself to "Hakuna Matata", as the locals live. After the first visit to Africa, the surprise passes. Correctly said above - or love, or not.

I have not been to Sri Lanka, but I think it is closer to her, as she retained her flavor. The Maldives is probably better compared to Mauritius and the Seychelles. How is it that Africa is Egypt, at least for the reasons that Arab Africa and Black Africa, below the Sahara, are two different worlds. I liked Zanzibar more than Mauritius precisely because it has its own characteristics and flavor, and not a stupid hotel-beach-licking service. For the first time, many go nuts, but after several visits to Africa, you begin to understand that African service is not the same as bad service, it just has its own characteristics that you need to get high from. There are also hotels on Zanzik with super European service, only they cost a little bit more than the money that the average tourist wants to spend.
